Ah, yes, the online profile. A vain attempt (double meaning intended) to convey one's essence in a sentence or two. It is as impossible a task for me as it is for you. I am a whole person, complex, confident, convoluted. Do you feel, as I do, that the depth of one's character transcends language, and pithy pronouncements packaged in a paragraph don't even start to scratch the surface? Yes, I love the PNW and all it has to offer and am physically active in my appreciation of it. Yes, I am looking for a long term relationship that feels so right. Yes, I love to laugh and I have a nonstop sense of humor. But what I am really after is a deep connection that undergirds all of the enjoyable moments so that we just KNOW and feel each other. I am a searcher, a spiritual thinker and want someone who is too, and will encourage me to delve, as I will her, but will also revel in the NOW, and readily appreciate who and where we are This Moment. I want to create something wonderful together. Let's learn, discover, grow together, and laugh about it!

By the way, I am American. Yes, my Dad was from India (Mom is from Oregon) and I'm happy to have that Indian heritage, but I am born and raised here. I have a thick American accent. ;)

Spreading the love of art music (aka classical) through teaching cello to young people and running a non profit performing arts organization that I started 8 years ago.

Finding the balance between delving deep into life's inner meaning, and having simple fun, enjoying all life has to offer. Endeavoring to live a life free of judgment, including of myself!

Working on fitness, core strength. Staying active and gently improving the quality of my diet. Love camping, hiking, and car trips, travel. I love discovering other cultures, and appreciating their differences.

Also, spending time looking for a woman who gets me, and pushes me to learn and grow and improve, but doesn't try to change my core. I like who I am!

Music - busman's holiday. My career is music, so I tend not to listen on my own. That said, I enjoy lots of kinds of music if others are listening. Except classical, because it draws my attention and distracts me. It's my profession and my passion, so I can't listen casually. Classic rock, alternative, jazz, folk, good contemporary rock (there IS some...), world music. (But not country or heavy metal.)
