My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
'Curious' is the best word to describe me. I like exploring new things, and I'm not afraid to explore things I think I would be interested in. It's because of this process that I feel I continually grow as a person. I enjoy the simple things in life, valuing relationships over possessions - I love having people to share life with.

I'm at the point where I've been able to create a life for myself that I enjoy, and one where I'm happy that I don't NEED to find somebody, but rather, WANT to - I'm not one to rush into anything.

People have to referred to me as a renaissance man. In the past 3 years I've learned everything from home remodeling, gardening/livestock raising, how to build a bike from scratch, community building, how to run a business, and I'm currently learning how to work on motors.

Aside from having these practical and utility skills, I love to fill my and others' life with art and beauty. My primary artistic skill is culinary arts - I'm continually improving on it, and always looking for new people to share it with.

Intentful is another word I'd use to describe me. You can be assured if I'm spending time with you, I'm completely present in the moment - otherwise I wouldn't be there (unless of course you really needed me there and my physical presence was enough).

I'm incredibly confident and self-assured, but you might not know it at first. This is because I'm not a 'peacock', and I don't go around trying to show off or trying to make a big deal of myself - I have referred to myself as 'quietly confident' because I just go out and do the thing I want to do.

And there's oh-so-much more I wish I could say without this profile running on forever. So, please, I encourage you to ask anything you'd like to know about me - I'm incredibly open, and there's no question I won't answer if you ask me directly.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an incredibly busy person, not because I fill my time with things to stay busy, but because I'm passionate about life and there are so many things I want to experience.

Mainly, I'm building my bookkeeping practice. This occupies the bulk of my time as I work to gain enough clients to have a sustainable business. I'm happy to know that my focus so far this year has yielded great results, and I look forward to what the rest of the year brings. The nature of my work allows me to work on the road, and I hope to start traveling early next year, staying for extended amounts of time where ever I go.

I'm also incredibly passionate about building community, and I belong to communities based around co-working, bicycling, tool sharing, and a maker space. My hope is to next start a housing cooperative, and be able to share with others how to do the same.

I make sure to nurture my love of agriculture, and I'm often learning how to grow some new plant I came across while browsing seeds at a plant nursery. Someday in the future, once I have enough monetary freedom from my bookkeeping practice, I hope to turn my passion for food and agriculture into a business, and see if it can be my primary means of support. Even if it can't, I hope to know so much about it that I can provide myself and loved ones with delicious and healthy food.

Staying active is also important to me. I make sure above everything else to stay in shape by exercising on a regular basis. This is something I had to learn within the last year, as I discovered that following passions and interests with unabated enthusiasm isn't sustainable if you're doing it to the point of exhaustion, and I'm discovering how much better I can enjoy my passions by being the physically fittest version of myself I can be.

I'm going to use this section instead to list a few notes:

1) I am looking to date in either Boulder or Denver. I love public transportation, and getting down into Denver isn't a problem for me. In fact, I love having reasons to go into the city.

2) I don't own a car. This is a lifestyle choice, and something I've been working towards for years. Between having a pass for all RTD transportation, a bicycle, a car-share, and a scooter, I get around very easily.

3) I'm highly attracted to independent, self-directed people. I'm the same way myself.

4) You'll always know where you stand with me. If I'm interested romantically, I'm going to use the word 'date' - if not, any get together is platonic. It doesn't mean it can't change, but I at least like us understanding the intention going in.
