My self-summary
'Curious' is the best word to describe me. I like exploring new things, and I'm not afraid to explore things I think I would be interested in. It's because of this process that I feel I continually grow as a person. I enjoy the simple things in life, valuing relationships over possessions. I try to learn something new everyday, and look for others to share it with.

I'm at the point where I've been able to create a life for myself that I enjoy, and one where I'm happy that I don't NEED to find somebody, but rather, WANT to.
What I’m doing with my life
I moved to Colorado last year from New Haven, CT, after visiting a few times, and each experience better than the last. My plans include getting involved with local organic farms, and aquaponic gardening organizations, to learn about agriculture, and hopefully make a difference with food-related social issues. Currently, I'm working as a self-employed bookkeeper/accountant as I plan my transition to a career in agriculture. The first part of this plan includes me tending to my large garden space, which is giving me hands-on farming experience, in addition to volunteering with local farms when I get the chance. I've also been blessed to learn how to grow cannabis, and hope to grow strains both for medicinal, and environmental remediation reasons.

Staying active is also important to me. I run and bike, and now hope to explore all of the hiking and rock climbing Colorado has to offer. Additionally, I enjoy helping to support the community, and look forward to volunteering with various local organizations.

Here's what was in my profile while in CT, and I hope to work on something similar again:

I'm building a housing co-op, which is one part of a larger urban sustainable living experiment. My life consists of learning backyard, remodeling the houses involved, trying to reduce the resources/utilities used, and living a more meaningful and mindful life. I hope to be able to learn enough to share my knowledge and experience with others someday.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
1) New ways I can enjoy the world.
2) How I can make the world a more enjoyable place.
3) Where I'm traveling next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully getting together with friends for games and conversation over great food, drink, and dessert.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a nerd for keeping organized, and finding the right connector piece to finish a DIY/hack project.

I'm going to use this section instead to list a few notes:

1) I am looking to date in either Boulder or Denver. I love public transportation, and getting down into Denver isn't a problem for me. In fact, I love having reasons to go into the city.

2) I don't own a car. This is a lifestyle choice, and something I've been working towards for years. Between having a pass for all RTD transportation, a bicycle, a car-share, and a scooter, I get around very easily.

3) I listed all of the options in the 'looking for' section, so here's more detail:

I want to find a long-term partner, somebody I am very in sync with, and who wants to support each others' goals - somebody I initially find time for, and eventually make time for. However, I'm not in any rush, and I'd rather find a quality partner than settle. If in the meantime, my adventures find me good friends or short-term dating, that would be great, too; I want a multi-level connection, no matter how long it lasts. As long as we're both enjoying each others' company, share mutual respect, and our time spent together is full of intention, I'm happy.

4) I'm highly attracted to independent, self-directed people. I'm the same way myself.
