My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Punk rocker, nerd, armchair leftist, and barista. I'm a sweet and quirky guy looking for someone to spend time with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Intermittently attending college - attended university and community college. Working full-time as a barista at Starbucks right now, with plenty of time available for hanging out.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Well, making elaborate coffee drinks I suppose.

Ummm... coining nonsense portmanteaus? Coming up with ridiculous ideas? Seeing the humor in every situation?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sweetness and my sense of humor. I'm not the most attractive or outgoing guy, but I am sincere, thoughtful, and funny.

I'm a dork. Very into punk rock, harder indie, and heavy metal. Personal favorites include Elvis Costello, Crass, Moss Icon, the Smiths, Von, Darkthrone, Teenage Bottlerocket, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Heresy, the Wipers, and many, many more.

I haven't been reading as much lately as I would like to, but I have a whole list of postmodernist fiction I'd like to read. All-time favorites are the usual suspects: Gatsby, Crime and Punishment, the Good Earth, Catcher in the Rye. Stuff I read as a teenager that had a great effect on me, I suppose.

I'm also really into superhero comics, and frequently obsess over whatever Grant Morrison or Neil Gaiman write.

TV... I just watched through every Joss Whedon series - Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse - and the early seasons of the Simpsons are a perennial favorite. I've watched Freaks and Geeks through about 6 times.

As for movies, I could watch The Big Lebowski or the Dark Knight any time. I know, dork.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future. I'm not really sure what I'm doing with my life - what I want to accomplish, where I want to finish school, etc. Hopefully I can find someone to spend time with while I'm figuring these things out.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working. Or possibly just watching horror movies and having a couple beers with friends. I generally prefer low-key stuff to big outings, but it would be nice to have the whole "going out to the club" experience at least once.
