Most days, I'm walk down the street with a smile on my face. Am grateful for my life and the people in it. Down-to earth, stable, and relatively low-maintenance. I value creativity and intelligence. I eat right (mostly), exercise (regularly) and am upbeat (naturally). I am seriously loyal to my friends, maybe to a fault. Try to stay engaged socially and take advantage of the cultural cornucopia that is NYC. I'm a one man guy.
What I’m doing with my life
Like everyone else, I love traveling, and want to get back to more of it. I see quite a bit of theatre and movies, hear live music, exercise (gym, run), hang and cook with friends. Love the beach (Cape Cod!) and just started exploring upstate NY. I like some sports (college basketball), but not so keen on others (golf).
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
I asked two pals - the one who is still my friend said my smile.
The other guy said my nose.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite book is 100 Years of Solitude, hands down. Also love Geek Love, Middlesex, Wise Blood, Independence Day, Play It As It Lays, Slouching Toward Bethlehem, Preparation for the Next Life.
Movies - Cinema Paradiso, Godfather Part II, Amelie, Life of Pi, Sunset Blvd., GWTW (I'm southern), Boyhood.
Shows - Sondheim, Baites, Williams.
Music - like most genres, but have a soft spot for classic rock.
Food - bring it (well, most of it).
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ways to stop thinking about things so damn much.
On a typical Friday night I am
Very happy for the weekend, and doing something fun/relaxing with
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm extremely tactile.
