I was born in the states and raised in asia, so I'm still working out the kinks of being neither here nor there. This is the first time in a long while that I've stayed put in NYC (a conscious choice). I've been traveling, working out of state or abroad for the past three years. So far, it's been a good choice. I know that I'd like something a little slower and some more trees to complement the access to art, an awesome beer/cocktail, a midnight taco, or, I don't know, a 24 hr drugstore for band-aids or laundry detergent. That said, work/creative endeavors are here so i'm working with what I got!

I'm an introvert but a secret extrovert. If you catch me in the pocket, I'm brazen, friendly, and loose. I'm a pretty serious guy, so I naturally respond to spontaneous, active people. Once I get there, I'm golden. Mostly, i'm just a bit shy.

I think sweaty, effort laden tasks/activites are the best kind, but sometimes all i want to do is chill out in bed with a lame tv show over a pint (beer or ice cream). Yeah, eating in bed. My room is too small for much else.

This site asked me to identify as gay. I usually use "queer." That's pretty telling, right?

Ending on an overly formal positive note: I'm excited for my 30s and the potential for a more diverse social circle.

onstage. My work keeps me busy most nights. So that might be a bit of a factor to consider - late evenings and some daytimes are my free moments.

sometimes i catch myself counting steps to 100 then starting over but that's not necessarily private information...so... i'm willing to admit that I'm judging the fact that I'm filling this profile out and making an actual effort, uncoerced and unrehearsed.
