My self-summary
Hi, i'm Nick. I just moved to Kansas City. I am originally from the Bay Area in California, and am working my way up in the mental health field through education and work, and I love what I do. I enjoy great conversations with passionate and quality people. I am constantly working on challenging myself. I am looking to explore this beautiful city, and would greatly appreciate any suggestions for good food, wine, bourbon, music, comedy, or outdoor events.
What I’m doing with my life
Doing my little part to save the world, a day at a time. :-)
I’m really good at
Being inappropriate ;-)
The first things people usually notice about me
It's strange, I get the "I know you from somewhere" comment a lot. Maybe I have a lot of dopplegangers?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- psych text books and articles, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, A Man's Search for Meaning, The Art of War, The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

Movies- Shawshank Redemption, American History X, The Godfather Series, IP Man, The Mad Detective, Star Wars, Harry potter.

TV- Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, Big Bang Theory. I am also on a bit of a British TV kick lately and really enjoy Luther and Wire in the Blood
The six things I could never do without
1) Unpredictability
2) Laughing and making others laugh
3) Friends and Family
4) Intimacy
5) Sarcasm
6) Belgian beer and good bourbon
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whether or not I should say what I am thinking... For example, the terrifying rise in ducky/pouty face pose.
On a typical Friday night I am
Variety of things. I enjoy spending time with friends or family and having stimulating conversations. Always involves fantastic food, wine, and maybe a great beer.

Lately, it has been a lot more simple as I am new to this city without knowing anyone. I have been checking out new handouts these past few Fridays, but nothing great yet!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Only to be answered in person. A hint is that it involves a terrible end to a bike ride and what would be later called the "shrub of fate."
You should message me if
- You are willing to laugh at yourself and can handle with some rather ridiculous but hilarious comments from time to time.
- you are wondering whether you should contact me or not, trust me, you should :-)
