My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Enjoy inane blather, don't take the frivolous parts of life all that serious. Tend to have more poorly thought out opinions than actual entrenched beliefs. Like banjos, camping and place a high value on porch culture.

Overall just really enjoy exploration and would rather go on a hike through the desert at night and see some stars than go to a club. That said, I really love salsa dancing and meeting new people.

From SF and Denver, but went to school in LA. I've spent the last couple years traveling a lot for work, but am changing that. Just moved back to LA to help gentrify Echo Park, gotta always live near ample amounts of hipsters and Latinos, for the organic burrito abundance. Would be nice to meet someone fun to hang out, banter and possibly go camping with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Cameras, lenses and codecs, I make outdoorsy videos for myself and others. Pretty into wilderness, open ocean and soil type stuff. I also think a lot about brewing/fermenting things and starting a hostel on a beach on the Sea of Cortez one day...or Indonesia, or along the Pacific Crest Trail....choices choices.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Climbing trees and drinking whiskey
mushroom hunting
trespassing on private property
hotsprings & cold beer
avoiding the sun
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I look about a decade younger than I am, come off as very enthusiastic and don't seem to take that much seriously... but I do take what is truly important quite seriously...except spelling, that garbage is for computers and people with too much time on their hands.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music- Love bluegrass, Cajun and anything with a Banjo. Stuff I been listening to lately - Moster Rally, Shakey Graves, Nick Mulvey, Szymon, DirtWire, Mikhael Paskalev, Panama, Jinji Safari, Danger Beach, The Peals, Shook twins, First Aid Kit.

Books - Shantaram, Lonesome Dove, A Confederacy of Dunces, David Sedaris, Calvin and Hobbes, Shel Silverstein

Movies - Huge documentary fan, anything by Werner Herzog (like his writing too), Inside Job, Gasland, Damnation, 180 Degrees South ...too many, just too much awesome. Anything by Wong Kar-wai, Lars Von Trier and Terrence Malick.

TV - Rick and Morty, Tim and Eric, Louis CK, nature stuff and anything with David Attenborough.

Opportunivore, majority veggies and plants, but never turn down a nice home cooked meal made with other stuff. Been eating a fair amount of Soylent... for better or worse it's kinda awesome and disturbing at the same time.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
burritos made with love
watered down fruit juice
a sense of righteous indignation
trees and foliage
wide open spaces
creative cynicism
taking shortcuts and bending rules
spell check
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Getting a cabin with a pond and one of those floating docks in the middle to swim to ... and flannel sheets.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Cold beer in the park with friends, or out and about, or working. I work irregular hours, so anytime is a good time to work.
