I am often unpredictable, mostly fun, and almost always nice.

My Self-Summary

I'm a 23 y/o Japanese girl looking for someone to hang out with in Tokyo and surrounding areas. I'm fairly new to Tokyo and I must say it's pretty hard to meet people here outside of work! Anyway, if you're interested, please drop me a line and see how things go from there.

What I’m doing with my life

I don't want to give too much away here. Let's just say I make spreadsheets and PPT slides for a living. Most of the time.

I’m really good at

Deadpan.

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know. That I look like a girl? Honestly, I have no idea. I'd love to know.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: The Selfish Gene, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Moab is my Washpot... I've got to admit I don't read much fiction. I mostly read work-related stuff (Finance).

Music: Animal Collective, The Unicorns, Of Montreal, Blur, Belle and Sebastian, Beck, Islands, The Microphones, Radiohead, The Smiths, Cornelius, The Music Tapes, Kasabian, Kraftwerk, etc.

Movies: Magnolia, Breaking the Waves, Paprika, Donnie Darko, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Heavenly Creatures, etc.

Food: Chocolate, Broccoli. Not served together though, of course.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Oh, can I really write about it here? Nah, probably shouldn't.

On a typical Friday night I am

Either going out with my coworkers or at home watching a film. Not into the bar/clubbing scene much, I'm afraid. Hate that meat market feel. I mean, the kind of people I'd like to meet probably wouldn't go to those places. They are probably more likely to be seen in libraries or at home watching Kon Satoshi films or playing Rez. So tell me, where do I get to know those people?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm a sucker for "geeky cool."

You should message me if

... you want and live in/near Tokyo.
