My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Disclaimer: I'm not actually Bohring, just punny with a science fetish. Get on my level.

Non-traditional life traveller following a path consisting of mostly forking off. Constantly trying to balance my cranial hemispheres and my interests (math+hard science & art+music) and to stay focused.

Note: I'm only in Berkeley until August 2015. Because of this, I am obviously not really looking for anything long term...other than friendship of course. At this point I'm here looking to network with artistic/creative/science/mathy/music types before I pack my shit and move to UC San Diego to study Computational Physics/Art/Music. Let's inspire each other for the short time I'm here. Even inspiring discussion over some sort of drink (coffee/beer). Let's be friends.

I tutor students in math, physics, computer science and chemistry at Berkeley City College and am passionate about getting people to understand subjects which I struggled with in the past (high school drop out reporting). Thinking about becoming a community college instructor someday and pushing for a more interdisciplinary curriculum to be offered.

I make music using software (and instruments from time to time) and art using code and software not intended for art making.

INTJ...if you're into that.

I'm terrible at filling out profiles as I'm totally sure you haven't realized yet.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Music, Art, Math, Physics, Computer Science, teaching other people these things and learning these things from other people.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
having too many hobbies and interests to the point of a continuous existential crisis asking myself how I'm supposed to cram all this shit into a single human lifespan. someone just upload me to the internet already ffs.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I dunno. I'm not people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
books - instruction manuals, books about my interests, dystopian future novels

movies - a lot of them

shows - a few of them

music - experimental electronic and metal/doom/sludge and dark jazz at the moment

food - anything and everything
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, Art, Computers, Science, Caffeine, eCig. Maybe food, water, shelter and love somewhere in the mix of those things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
way too many things at once.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
art or music or research stuff or doing projects or drinking or smoking or on the internet or homework or snuggling with my cat and watching shitty tv or something. It really just depends on the Friday night. I'm not bound by days of the week or my own circadian rhythm for that matter.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have this pipe dream of eventually owning a warehouse in an industrial district and converting it into a collaborative art/hack/jam space with a community super computer for not-necessarily-academic research.

It's seriously my only real long term goal other than eventually paying off incoming student loans and inspiring the next generation of people as people have inspired me.

you actually read my profile (and weren't completely put off).

you feel like it.

you want to talk about the universe and how insignificant we are.

you want to talk about the universe and how significant we are.

you want to talk about the universe.

you want to create some stuff together (art/music/whatever).

you like mind altering beverages and would like to sip on one (or a few) with me. I'm not talking about chugging vials of acid or anything (but I'd be down), just coffee or beer.

you're not a judgy, pretentious fuckface.
