My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Tim. I am a psych major at IUPUI and intend to seek a doctorate degree. Most of my time is devoted to my studies, although I am very interested in writing fiction and am about halfway through my first novel.

I am a fellow potato eater and have a strong heritage from Ireland.

I'm told that if I make it to 500 words, that I will win points or some sort of prize, so the above is important and the rest is just arbitrary information.

I like the sounds of a rainstorm and enjoy the scent in the air afterward. My favorite element is strontium. I share the same name with a professional basketball player. I am learning to play guitar.

I enjoy drinking coffee, playing my old Nintendo, making my friends' life more interesting, watching old sitcoms, and making inappropriate hand gestures to my neighbors.

I don't really subscribe to any particular political affiliation. I'm seriously thinking about getting a goldfish. I have a Rubix cube that I have never been able to solve. My name rhymes with limb.

Ok...I'm almost there.

But as you can see, I have a fun personality but can be serious when needed. Although, I usually don't enjoy comedies.

I certainly live in the moment and tend not to worry too much about the future.

writing, paying bills, studying, reading, renewing my netflix subscription, drinking, sleeping, cleaning, driving, mailing letters, and paying my library fines.

My premium dancing skills...

After that, they might notice a kind but sometimes shy, spontaneous, and easy going guy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The few books I get to read, other than textbooks, include the works of Stephen King, Dean Koontz and John Grisham. I also enjoy reading non-fiction on various topics.

As far as movies are concerned, I am a horror fan with Halloween being my absolute favorite. I think that my favorite subgenre would have to be slasher, especially those from the 70s and 80s.

Other films I enjoy usually range from dark comedies to some action and a lot of drama.

I will admit that I geek out over any new superhero movie, especially Superman. I am also a proud fan of Star Wars, there I said it.

Music: I don't really follow new music. I like Kings of Leon, they're kinda new. The Beatles and Pink Floyd are probably tied for my favorites, with Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Foo Fighters trailing closely behind. I also like System of a Down, Weezer, Green Day (pre-American Idiot), Journey, Queens of the Stone Age, Ben Folds, Cake and Deftones, to name a few.

Additionally, I usually dig anything from the 70s, 80s and 90s, especially new wave, hair metal and grunge/alternative.

Television: Breaking Bad, 24, Lost, Walking Dead, The Sopranos, Dexter, South Park, The Simpsons, Seinfeld and Night Court. Plus, I enjoy quite a few old sitcoms.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
