I don't really like self-summaries, but here goes. I am a pensive, witty, and humorous soul who has many different interests. I love music, math and science, art, fashion, government, politics, and daydreaming, when I get the chance. I'm open to many different perspectives and have friends from all walks of life. I love variety and change every now and then. Above all, I'm just one of the many people on this Earth trying to figure out who I am and what I'm here to do.

I'm currently going to the University of Minnesota and exploring what I want to do with my life. I'm majoring in chemistry and working in a chemistry research lab on campus. I like what I'm doing, but I've recently come to the realization that I'm more interested in medical research than pure scientific research. As such, I'd like to go to medical school when I'm done here.

Aside from academic strengths, I'm also very good at the piano. I played for all of the musicals in high school, performed in recitals and competitions, accompanied choirs, and almost considered auditioning for music schools and majoring in music. I ultimately decided that I loved it, but didn't want to ruin it by struggling to make a career out of it. Plus, I had other strengths and interests that I wanted to explore.

Oh, and besides that, I also make a killer cheesecake. So, if you're into cooking dates, I'll handle dessert ;).

Hmm, this is difficult to decide. Is it my penetrating eyes, my incredible sense of humor, or my hot little body? In all seriousness, I have no idea what others notice about me first. You're just going to have to meet me to find out.

There are a lot of books that I like, but if I had to name a few, I guess I'd say: Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, The Poisonwood Bible, Memoirs of a Geisha, Dead Until Dark, The Devil in the White City, and many more...I'm ashamed to say that a number of my favorite books are completely devoid of literary merit.

I am a huge fan of movies and have so many favorites, but here are just a few: The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (IV-VI), Jurassic Park, The English Patient, The Notebook, Moulin Rouge, Milk, Chicago, James Bond, The Silence of the Lambs, Indiana Jones, and The Incredibles.

My music taste is perhaps the weirdest. I'm not generally picky, but some of my favorites include classical (16th-20th century music), classic rock (Queen, The Beatles, The Stix, The Eagles, Journey), techno pop (admittedly, Madonna), folk, Billy Joel, Rihanna, Beyonce, some rap, some hip-hop, and some broadway music.
