My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Nick.

I'm fun loving, very energetic and my friends enjoy my antics and shenanigans when we hang out. They never know what to expect.

I like to think I'm polite and try my best to help people out whenever possible. I also try to get people to smile on public transport because everyone usually looks so unhappy.

I guess you could call me a gamer or a nerd but I don't think I really the fit the normal stereotypes for either label. I enjoy the occasional video game but prefer the more social ones like Guitar Hero or Rock Band. I collect, build and paint both Warhammer and 40k.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working as IT Support in the Education sector in Melbourne, I'm enjoying it but I'm considering going to Uni or TAFE to get more recognised learning.

Recently I was challenged to do a 12 week fitness program, so I'm really busy doing that at the moment. Working in IT and being somewhat nerdy, this fitness thing is tough but I'm enjoying it and feeling much better physically.

Other than that, I'm hanging out with friends whenever they're free and also trying really hard to get better at / finishing the painting of my Warhammer collection.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Giving hugs, making a fool of myself/having fun with friends, fixing computers and other consumer electronic devices. I'm told that I excel in impressions of strange noises, from Kevin in Up! to the pedestrian crossing beeps to pigeon noises (that tends to upset pigeons by the way). I enjoy problem solving and usually won't give up until a problem's solved. So I guess that me good at that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm pretty shy and maybe my hair as it can get pretty silly at times. Other than that I don't really know. I guess I often hear that I look pretty sharp in a suit.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I really love Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, I've starting reading through his other books and enjoying them as well. Tom Clancy's fiction books with Jack Ryan in them are also fond favourites with Executive Orders and The Hunt for Red October being stand out favourites.

The older Disney animated movies are generally enjoyable and pretty much all of Pixar's stuff is legendary. Otherwise I generally enjoy Sci-Fi or Comedy movies. I generally avoid Horror films as I figure we've got too much of that in the real world to want to escape to another place with more of it.

For TV shows, I really enjoy Q.I. Blackadder, Red Dwarf, Big Bang Theory, The Might Boosh, The IT Crowd, Black Books, Stargate S.G.1 and Atlantis. Possibly some others too that have escaped my thoughts at the moment.

Music I generally enjoy Rock and Alternative but I'm finding with playing the music games such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band that my taste in music is diversifying, which is always good. However I stay completely away from Country Western and Heavy Metal.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The usual things I guess, a suitable living environment, you know oxygen, protection from radiation, gravity, sustenance and what not. That's a given.

My friends and family come next, I guess these can count as two but I can't really separate them as my closest friends I consider to be my family anyway.

Next would be my phone, now I'm not really a talker on the phone but I like knowing that if people need to contact me they can as I have it with me almost all the time but I do ignore calls/messages/whatever when I'm supposed to. Plus my phone is internet connected so if I'm bored I can do whatever on it.

My music belongs in this list too. I listen to it a lot and it does the usual things for me that it does to pretty much everyone else.

Last but not least is nature. I grew up in basically "The Bush" so I'm used to have birds and trees around me. When it's really quiet I become unnerved because usually that's when something bad is about to happen as animals have that sixth sense about them.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
ways to make the tasks I'm doing more interesting or work better, how to make the world a better place and how awesome it'd be to be able to fly or go to the moon.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually I'm home chilling out watching DVDs or playing video games but more than occasionally my friends drag me out and we hang out in the city.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmm, I don't really now. I can't think of anything off the top of my head as I generally will tell people anything if they ask the right question.
