I'm close with my family and my friends. I have a passion for words, and I talk and write a lot. I have a ready smile, and I'm low-maintenance. I love music. I have been accused of having emo tendencies, but to be realistic, I'm way too happy to be emo.

I recently rediscovered my love of sports. I used to play basketball and volleyball (and soccer when I was much younger), and I've kind of gotten back into playing and watching sports. My favorite sport to watch on TV is basketball (and definitely college). I'm not obsessive about it at all though, but I'm totally rooting for the Celtics to win it all.

I'm an open book. I am who I am all the time. I never pretend to be someone I'm not unless I'm performing of course.

In a perfect world, I'd be a novelist or in a band. In this world, I don't have the time to devote to writing or much in the way of musical talent. Doesn't stop me from trying both though.

I have a hard time with people who are close-minded. I think that it is incredibly important to make educated decisions and to listen to the other side of an argument. Intolerance is, by far, my biggest pet peeve.

Writing. I am sometimes the most inarticulate person in the world when speaking, but give me a pen and paper, and I can write it out in a clever, poetic, direct or meaningful way without even trying.

That I'm tall or that I'm loud, depends on if you see me first or hear me first. Although, you might see the curly hair first too. I am told that most of my friends describe me as "that really tall girl with curly brown hair" to people who haven't met me yet.

I love the Dragonlance books, J.R.R. Tolkien's collected works (especially The Hobbit), the Sword of Truth series, anything by David Eddings, Terry Brooks, Margaret Weis or Tracey Hickman. I really like comic books too. I'm not particularly picky about books though.

Princess Bride is my all time favorite movie. But I also love Saved!, 10 Things I Hate About You, Life as a House, 300, Boondock Saints, A Knight's Tale, Lord of the Rings and, of course, comic book movies. I like most movies, except horror movies (I get scared too easily).

Eve 6, Fall Out Boy, Something Corporate, Dashboard Confessional, My Chemical Romance, Cute is What We Aim For, Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack, The Beatles, New Found Glory, Jimmy Eat World and Southeast Engine. I'm a concert junkie too.

Apples and cheesecake are probably my favorite, but I like Mexican food. And I love cooking chili - it's my specialty.
