My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a daughter, mother, sister, animal lover, and friend. A bookworm, music enthusiast, eternal optimist, opinionated, dreamer. A level-headed, big ball of confusion and contradiction. I laugh with my whole body and soul and would drop everything for any of the wonderful people in my life. Constantly looking to understand all that surrounds me, I question everything. Literally. More than likely to the point of annoyance. I'm a person who would love to be more artistic, whether it be in sketching, painting, or even photography but I do not have the eye or the talent so instead I have a great appreciation for those that do.
More than anything, I'm a person who craves to do good in this world.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently I'm working the retail scene again and I'm a full time student at the same time.

Also, I'm planning a trip to Istanbul and I'm at Jessie Spano level of excitement about it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
not taking life too seriously. We all have our good days and bad, but when life is as short as it is, what's the point in worrying about it? I'd rather make the best out of every situation given to me than worry about why things aren't different from the way they are.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm usually laughing...a lot. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Oh boy. All of these things are in my favorite activities.

Books - I'm really into classics: Hemingway, Steinbeck, Shakespeare, etc. I love authors like Nick Hornby, Wally Lamb, Ian McEwan, Christopher Moore (at times, not always), Sylvia Plath, Robert Frost and Walt Whitman. I also enjoy the occasional memoir and have taken a liking to some young adult series/books as well (Hunger Games, Divergent, The Book Thief, Perks of Being a Wallflower, etc.). Really, I will read just about anything that catches my eye or is recommended to me. Currently I am reading Stiff by Mary Roach.

Television and Movies - I love chick flicks and I'm not afraid to admit it, but I also love a really good horror movie too. Musicals are also a big part of my movie collection. I was raised on them and continue to love them to this day. Tv wise my favorites are Buffy (I don't care if it ended, its still a fave), Grey's, The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, The Blacklist, New Girl, Bob's Burgers, Orange is the New Black, The Following, Arrow, The Flash, Once Upon a Time, Supernatural, New Girl, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, The Voice (its the only singing competition show I really enjoy), Glee and Parenthood. I probably watch too much tv.

Food - I love most, except sushi which is a big trend right now, but unless it's vegetarian, I'm not a fan. Fish and I are not friends. (Update: while fish and I are still very unfriendly, I've found some sushi I really enjoy!) I love everything from Italian to Indian, Vietnamese to Mexican. I cook a lot so I have a pretty open palate.

Music - I pretty much love it all except for hardcore rap. I studied music up until I had my son, so chances are I will like most anything played for me. :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hmm. Ok, let's see...

1. My child. He is my world, after all.
2. My dog, Riley.
3. My amazing friends and family.
4. A good book or two.
5. IPod/CDs/Phone... anything with my music loaded onto it
6. Personal care items? Lol. I'd prefer to be clean.

Wow. Reading this makes me sound a lot more needy than I really am!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
everything under the sun! I'm a fairly logical person and I am usually deep in thought on some topic, big or small.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually home studying or trying to plan a fun event for my child.
