My self-summary
Eek! Personal summary...more like my personal sales pitch. Suddenly words such as new, improved, never will rust, life time guarantee, and ten year warranty pop into my head...all things that don't describe me...well except the rust part.

Well anyways...I love ellipses, music, movies, and books as most people do. I also love: to dance, travel, watch horror flicks, going to the theatre, going to concerts, seeing musicals, playing the piano, singing, playing tennis, geeks, and playing video games...because I'm a geek. I'm constantly on the hunt for new music and scary movies I've yet to see. I hate bugs though I don't get uber freaked out by them. I am annoyed by poor spellers, people who fear the dictionary, are closed minded, and racist.

If you'd like to know more I'd suggest reading a little further...

I am a Music Junkie, Geeky, and Comical
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I am working part time at an electronics store & part time as a nanny. I hope to soon be able to go back to college and focus my education in the IT field.
I’m really good at
I'm a decent listener. I've always been the kind of girl who is there whenever my friends need a shoulder to cry on or some encouraging words. I think I have a knack at finding the good in nearly every situation and talking people through stressful or emotionally trying times. I'm not sure why people find that I am easy to open up to...but to me it really doesn't matter. I like to help people...and that's the long and short of it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music Faves: Daft Punk, Digitalism, Justice, Fischerspooner, Beatles, Phoenix, Hot Chip, Röyksopp, Klaxons, Dragonette, VHS or Beta, Rufus Wainwright , Jump, Little Children, Army of Me, Spoon, Sneaker Pimps, The Eels, The Killers, MGMT, The Black Keys, Weezer, Muse, 311, Hooverphonic, Fire Theft, The Cure, 30 Seconds To Mars, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Violent Femmes, Debussy, Chopin, Flight of The Conchords, and a bunch of other stuff I don't feel like typing up. If you really wanna know you can check out my page. I'm a real addict!

Book Faves: I'm a huge Harry Potter & Sookie Stackhouse Chronicles fan. I know, I know I'm a dork. :P I also love Neil Gaiman! Neverwhere, Stardust, Sandman (which is probably one of the only graphic novels I've ever read. Well with the exception of Jhonen Vasquez's books JTHM & Squee but I don't think those count as graphic novels...), The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Nightwatch, Daywatch, Wicked, Rhapsody, Something Wicked This Way Comes, Ten Little Indians, and Brave New World. The Bell Jar, and The Looking Glass Wars to name a few.

Movie Faves: I love horror. I love comedy. And I know this may make all the guys run screaming but I love musicals. Usually I prefer to see them on stage but I'm really happy that the movie-musical has started to come back into fashion...and in my lifetime! So here's my list that started out small but kept growing because I didn't want to leave any of them off. You can skim if you'd like...

Horror(ish): The Audtion, Battle Royale, The Hills Have Eyes, House of a Thousand Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, Saw1-3, Suspiria, The Suicide Club, Cube, Cube Zero, Hyper Cube, Premonition, Ju-On, Uzumaki (I like subtitles), 28 Days Later, Shaun of The Dead (not a horror flick but I thought I should put it with the rest of the zombie movies), I Am Legend, Night/Land/Dawn/Day/ of the Dead, Evil Dead 1 & 2, Army of Darkness (Pretty much if the title of the movie contains the word "Dead" and there are zombies in it I'm going to love it no matter how cheesy!), Slient Hill & all the Resident Evil flicks...cause I'm a video game geek.

Comedies: Grandma's Boy (The ultimate video game comedy), Empire Records, Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (I love Kevin Smith), Princess Bride, Men In Tights, The Young Frankenstein, History of The World Part I (I also love Mel Brooks), Holy Grail, Life of Brian...and Monty Python, Grosse Pointe Blank, High Fidelity.

Movie-Musicals: Across The Universe, Sweeny Todd, The Producers, Nightmare Before Christmas, Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, and Rent.

Others: The Red Shoes, Martian Child, Wanted, Penelope, Nightwatch, Daywatch, Heathers, Closer, Hackers, Crash, Fight Club, Unbreakable, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, The Incredible Hulk, Ironman (I'm slowly becoming a comic book movie girl), Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy 2 (not the most amazing movie ever but visually it was awesome just like Pan's Labyrinth), all the Harry Potter movies. I also am a huge Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, Helen Bonham Carter, & James McAvoy fan. I know I have like 50 movies I forgot to this is a 'small' taste of what I enjoy movie-wise.

T.V. Faves: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Chuck, Dexter, Battle Star Galactica, Caprica, Eureka, True Blood, Glee, The Office, 30 Rock, The Community, Parks & Recreation, Little Britain, Black Adder, Heroes & How I Met Your Mother.

Food Faves: Mexican & Italian yummy!
The six things I could never do without
I suppose...

1- Music
2- A good book to read
3- Human Interaction
4- Comedy
5- Games (any kind card, board, video etc.)
6- A computer with an internet connection
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whether I'll have enough time at the end of the day to hit the gym.
On a typical Friday night I am
Honestly...I'm usually at home reading a book, watching a movie, playing video games, or playing the piano. Sometimes I may go out with my friends to see a movie, go swimming, or fishing. Unfortunately, most of my current friends have families so it makes it rather difficult to spend time with them because they're always so busy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a soft spot for geeky, glasses wearing, computer hugging, video gaming, zombie killing, men.
