My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So... Full disclaimer for those who have found it to be an issue with other mens profiles---Yes, I am 5'10" (ok, an 1/8" under. I rounded up). Yes, I am fit. I play softball twice a week, racquetball once a week, workout several times a week and weigh 175. I just finished a fitness bootcamp that boosted my cardio. I don't have 6 pack abs, but it's getting there. I'm doing it for me, though. Not for you. Yes, my pics go back a couple years but I have a pic or three on there much more recent. They're dated for your convenience. Yes, I have a job and a car. Hate my job but working to find something better. I'm persistent in that. Most importantly, yes I am single. For almost three years now. No residual effects. Now...back to our regularly scheduled profile.---
I pronounce words phonetically, especially names. I enjoy the look I sometimes get from people when I do this. I am a straight-forward, non politically correct, tell you like it is kind of guy. I'm sarcastic, but funny. Intelligent, but quirky. I can laugh at myself and understand my flaws. A staunch friend and supporter, and a devout procrastinator. Looking for someone with thick skin who knows how to laugh at themselves. Liberals won't like me and neither will the far right as my policies come from my own views and beliefs, not those predetermined by any political party. Halloween is my favorite holiday. I am happiest when my cats sleep with me. They keep me sane. Since they live with my ex gf, this must say something about me. I'm not sure what. I was a skateboarder from high school to my very late 20's. I'm Romanian...vampires anyone? :) I like to ride my bike at the beach, I play softball and racquetball regularly, train in martial arts and workout so I'm fairly active. I'm actually a pretty decent cook. I do not equate microwaveables or sandwiches with cooking. I make a mean jambalaya. I'm something of a beer connoisseur. Real beer. Microbrews. Craft beer.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Figuring it out. Lost the manual, wouldn't you know.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Going with the flow and making people laugh even though I look mean. I also give a pretty good massage and don't mind doing it at all. Footrubs too, but those open up a whole new can of worms (just ask Vincent Vega or Jules Winnfield). :)
The first things people usually notice about me

My physical appearance? Nailed it!

Books: I've read too many to list but Aztec by Gary Jennings is near the top. I have read many of the classics (some of them on purpose even) such as Cannery Row, The Tell-Tale Heart, and even Camus' The Stranger (admittedly only because I love the Cure). Also read a lot of fantasy novels. Bloom County and Calvin and Hobbes. Not exactly fine literature but if you appreciate those, you'll love me. I love to read but it seems like I just don't have the time to these days. Sad, really.

Movies: This is easier. Anything Clint Eastwood. Tombstone, Clerks, Full Metal Jacket, The Evil Dead movies, Monty Python movies, Friday, Seven, Shawshank Redemption, "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Hangover, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Poolhall Junkies, American History X, Gladiator, Rudy, Aliens, the Princess Bride (my name is Inigo Montoya...), Airplane, Spaceballs, The Story of Ricky (classic bad Japanese movie with gratuitous gore and bad dubs) The Godfather, Goodfellas, Alladin, Pulp Fiction, Drop Dead Fred, 4 Rooms, First Blood, Leaving Las Vegas, Trainspotting, The Last Supper, Blackhawk Down, Where the Day Takes You, Silence of the Lambs, No Country For Old Men, Shallow Grave, High Strung, Sid and Nancy, Harold and Maude, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, A Fish Called Wanda, Snatch, anything by Stanley Kubrick...I prefer horror, sci/fi, comedies and thrillers. But certain actors/actresses are must see like Denzel Washington, Kate Beckinsale, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Deniro, Helena Bonham Carter, Jodie Foster, Edward Norton, Anthony Hopkins, Julianne Moore, Gary Oldman, Tim Roth, or Bruce Willis ( I get crap for saying he's a great actor but people forget he was in Pulp Fiction and was great in Four Rooms in a bit part. He was also in a relatively new Twilight Zone movie and he was amazing. He just needs a good part to show off his acting chops).

TV viewing: I don't follow regular shows. I don't care to have to be home at a certain time to catch a show and I don't care to dvr my life away. I do love some old British shows like The Young Ones, Black Adder, Fawlty Towers, Monty Python and Absolutely Fabulous. If I'm watching tv it's usually comedy central, Discovery channel, History channel, A & E on occassion and any sports. I will however, scroll through and look for shows I like and watch reruns or if I get lucky, the original showing of things like Family Guy, South Park, Tosh.O, Scrubs or SNL. Addendum**** Big Bang Theory: I haven't laughed out loud so much at a "sit com" in ages! It tugs at the nerd in me. So brilliant. Don't hate me for this :)

Music: Mostly punk, goth, industrial, 80's new wave, classic rock, thrash metal and classical. ***Update*** I was too lazy before but I guess I'll put a smattering of what I like here and add as they come to mind. Here goes: The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, Bauhaus, NIN, Depeche Mode, PiL, The Cramps, Misfits, The Damned, Bad Religion, Joy Division, New Order, Oingo Boingo (or as I like to call them, Ungada Bungada), Fugazi, Janes Addiction, New Model Army, Chameleons, OMD, Flesh For Lulu, Cocteau Twins, Fear, Fields of the Nephilim, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Pantera, Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rush, The Clash, Slipknot, Einsturzende Neubaten, Ministry, Boston, Journey, PINK Fucking FLOYD :), Metallica, System of a Down, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Maynard James Keenan, Circle Jerks, Toy Dolls, Pygmy Love Circus, Flock of Seagulls, The Chameleons, The Wake, Switchblade Symphony, Christian Death, Cheap Trick, The Waterboys, Gwar, London After Midnight, Dead Milkmen, Dead Kennedys, Dead Can Dance, The Smiths, Adam Ant, Killing Joke, Rolling Stones, The Who, Megadeth, Genesis, Korn, Sarah Brightman, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Sex Gang Children, AC/DC, Aerosmith, The Alarm, The Pixies, Berlin, Dramarama, U2, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Ultavox, Squeeze, Tears For Fears, Kommunity FK, The Adicts, Agent Orange, Adolescents, Volbeat and Rob Zombie.

Food: Italian, Mexican, Sushi, Chinese, Thai, Americana...I am not a vegan. If eating meat bothers you, that's fine. I don't need to hear about it. Believe it or not, I'm not a big fan of pizza. I can eat it, but it is never something I purposely go out to eat. I end up eating it as a last resort. Just got sick of it. So sue me. ***Changed my mind on pizza. Apparently, since high school and now, they have been making pizzas with other ingredients besides the usual. Try the bacon cheeseburger pizza at Pizza Port in San Clemente. Orgasmic! Wash it down with a nice craft brew. Try the beer buddies there. You won't regret it. Good times.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1: Family
2: Friends
3: Water (duh)
4: Sports
5: Chocolate
6: Eyesight
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lots of things. Like how to go about opening up a business to teach celebrities how to abstain from naming their kids the most fucked up shit possible. Oh you know what I mean: Kal-el, Seven Sirius, Banjo, Audio Science, Pilot Inspektor. Just. Fucking. Stop!!

To sum myself up, a lyric:
No, his mind is not for rent
To any god or government
Always hopeful, yet discontent
He knows changes aren't permanent
But change is.

Isn't Ren and Stimpy just brilliant? ?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sometimes in, sometimes out. All depends on what's going on and what I feel like doing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Believe it or not, I actually LIKE washing dishes. I insist on doing them, too. Weird, I know.

You like a guy with a shaved head, tattoos, who loves sports and has a knack for making people laugh, at me or with me. If you like a guy who will open your doors and make sure you are taken care of. If you like a guy who is both mellow and fiery. If you've ever read Bloom County (it's a pseudo political cartoon from the 80's/90's) and laughed out loud or especially can quote it like the bible, I may just marry you on the spot.
