My self-summary Propose an edit
used to work as a nurse on pediatric oncology, that was 6 years
ago, and for all of you fetish uniform freaks no i don't have my
uniform anymore i burned it
now finishing university, ethnology & cultural anthropology and
phonetics, well i have some exams left...
just got back to reality from my little paradise island, back to
work, back to studying.
i live on 3 different places in Croatia, Dubrovnik, Zagreb, and my
paradise island, there used to be a 4th place i spend most of my
days, Motovun, small town in Istria, where i used to conduct loads
of my researches, my mentor calls me the witch, although i have no
magical knowledge, just simply understand nature of things;)
working for one NGO, my projects are related to sustainable
development and responsible tourism...i don't like to talk about my
work cos when i start talking about it i cant stop...
Love traveling,
meeting new people, getting in funny situations,getting lost in new
places, my orientation huh sometimes i just forget about it,
love testing my physical and psychical strength and limits ahhh
mountains are quite good teachers...yes and the sea... for sea has
raised me and mountain is chiseling me....
sometimes i plan my trips for months before going, and sometimes i
just grab my backpack and leave, there is something constant about
me i am always very nervous before leaving, but as soon as train,
plain, carriage or even donkey goes, everything comes in place;)
Sad završavam fax, ostalo mi par ispiticha, ali lako za ispite, jerbo sljedećih mjesec dana sam na jednom malom otoku, dole na jugu...
obozhavam putovanja,upoznavanje novih ljudi,upadanje u nezamislive situacije, sraz kultura je zakon - pazi kad te dechko u Nepalu pozove kod svojih roditelja doma na chaj vrijeme je da se ubacish u prvu rikshu i malom viches gas gas, i do hotela naravno pucash od smijeha
kojiput planiram taj trip mjesecima unaprijed, a koji put samo zgrabim torbu i odem, jedno je sigurno uvijek sam strashno nervozna pred sam put, ali chim vlak, avion, kochija, ili magarac krenu sve sjedne na svoje mjesto;)
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
what kind of question is this, i live my life, i love my life,i
enjoy my life, yes sometimes its hard, right now am at the
crossroads, selling apartment in Zagreb, buying old house on one
island in Croatia, making big plans, big moves...life is adventure so i am jumping
right in the middle of it;)
was working on a jam & marmalade festival in Dubrovnik few
weeks ago, am one of the coordinators, friends call me lady
marmalade, got sweet belly after tasting all that jam hehe jamming
time love it... week after was working on conference of NGOs of
Croatia, and just after that was working on grant makers
conference..
then went to my island, picked olives, made some olive oil, cached
some calamaris, there will be nice dinner with my friends in
Zagreb:D
finally back in Zagreb, taking few days off, in next few weeks i ll
be fighting with my uni, uh well need to finish with it
soon...
edit: yeah taking some time off, sure *sarcastic grin*, writing new
project, and soon going to Graz to attend berg+abenteur Film
festival, cos documentary my team made end up there wuhuuu...

hmm, really good at packing, listening (when i have time), making
plans, organizing party's, making friends, swimming, smiling,
playing with kids, am great at giving orders hehehe, oh yes
excellent when it comes to dancing on 4800 m above sea level;)

food - definitively Thai cuisine, but i like it mild, not too hot,
well as long there is fish on my plate i like it, i would never say
no to meat either;)
music - all sorts of music, i like to hear new sounds, but don't
like to miss the old sounds too ;) i admit i am huge fan of
Byork! oh yes i am
in heaven when Stefanovski play his guitar, cant
suppress my singing when i hear Sinatra on the radio, cant help my
self but jump with arctic monkeys (don't understand a word they are
saying/singing, but hey they make me jump), Lily Allen also makes
me jump and sing, Nick Cave oh god Nick Cave as we like
to call him in Croatian Nikola Špiljo oh he can make me sing out
loud, not very good for neighbors but i am sorry its Nick Cave,
then Janis oh men she was something, you name it i probably heard
of it , and if its any good then its my music :D
movies - Almodovar and Mendez movies, oh Lucia y el sexo no.1.
my favorite, then maybe the Negotiator, Once, Amelie, etc....

on Graz film festival 2008 saw one movie that inspired me Hohenflug by swiss guy

books - books that i read are mostly connected to my work and
studies, but in my free time its something like hitchhikers guide
(D.A.), all from Terry Pratchett, Robert Zemeckis, but the one i
finished right now is "Long way to freedom" by Nelson Mandela,
moving to Kishon, need something to cheer me up :) oh forgot about
Croatian writers, Ante Tomić, Krešimir Pintarić, for now they share
the first place, ah who cares you guys never probably heard of them
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
uh now, ok sunglasses, passport, swiss knife, coffee, hm what
else...depends where i am - ok map would be good to have, and a
phrase book of country i am visiting, yup its a necessity
or if i am at home instead of map and a phrase book - something to
drink/smoke
