Hey guys,
I'm a friendly guy and fun to be around. I'm always cracking jokes and trying to make people laugh... sometimes I try too hard. :P
My ideal use of spare time is playing music, chess, and groups of friends. I love to spend time canoeing at my cottage. I spend a lot of time at the dog park where I pretend to do homework while my puppy runs around.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm studying Linguistics with a minor in Computer
Science at Carleton. I'd love to do Grad work and get involved with
computer processing of language and speech recognition. I'm
pretty academic. I also get depressed when I don't get perfect on
tests/assignments. (luckily it doesn't happen too often! :P)
For my "day job" I'm a waiter. At least, usually.

I like most movies. My favorite genre would probably be suspense.

My favorite authors are Nabokov, Ondaatje and Coetzee. I also like reading Terry Pratchett. I read several books at the same time which a lot of people find unusual.

I like a variety of music. I play the viola (violin++) and saxophone. I'm also currently working on voice lessons.

Since the beginning of this school year I've had the pleasure of
only working part time. I spend a lot of time working on my
readings and homework.
I also have a 3 month boxer puppy named Nimzo(the one in the photo is my parents boxer/bull mastiff Tito), and he takes up a lot of my time. So far it's been a blast. Funny how fast they grow!
