It's 4:11 in the morning and I'm bored, so I decided I might as well put some actual TIME into this thing... I am a unique person; My friends have told me that my brain works backwards from other peoples', whatever that means, but If you are looking for basic knowledge about me, first and foremost I LOVE MUSIC. I can listen to just about anything, because to me, music is what makes life worth living: it is what keeps me sane, it is what keeps me happy, it is the soundtrack to my life, and I would be incomplete without it. I am a singer. I am a people-watcher, if only because sitting back and watching gives you a better grasp on the nature of humanity. I love to laugh; they say laughter is the best medicine, and from personal experience I can say that there have never been truer words spoken. I don't litter and neither should you; the earth is our home, and we must respect her. Life has a way of throwing us curve balls; we can either catch them and move on to the next stage in our life, or we can miss entirely and let ourselves sink into misery over our loss. I choose to move on. I am an analytical being. I must always find the deeper meaning behind life. I do not believe in 'God' per se, but I believe that we, as people, have souls, and that the way we live our lives dictates the way we go after death. IM not a religious person.

I think we should always strive to better ourselves as people. As long as you strive towards that one and only goal, you will never fail.

I crave new knowledge, and am constantly striving to evolve as a human being. I am not a "set in my ways" kind of person. I will always listen to new ideas. Not only will i listen but If I find truth in your ideas I will integrate them into my own life. I can be a funny person but It sometime takes me awhile to show others that side of my personality. My sense of humor can be shocking sometimes. I am not above cracking a joke about jesus and porn stars while sitting in church. Anything to make others laugh.

I am a real person I know who I am and what I want out of life so I don't feel the need to make myself out to be something that i am not. I am not all about the physical. I don't find it necessary to be wearing the latest styles to define who i I am... plus I look real. I don't look like a barbie doll all plasticine and no character.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Right now, my life is all about rebuilding... sometimes I feel as if I am reborn and starting my life from scratch. June eigth of 2006 is a day that will live in infamy for me, as it truely changed (and probably saved) my life. I dont have a specific idea of what I want, but I have a general understanding of who i am as a person and where I want to be in life.

I am doing my best make my life more healthy. I recently quit smoking and up next im going cut caffeine to a minimum. I do believe that cutting out caffeine will be more challenging than quitting smoking. (I am addicted to AMP). I have also been walking alot. That may not seem like that big of a deal but it is. I have been sedentary for two years (recovering from a car accident) and I am finally in a place where I can make a change. Wish me luck :D

**update**

I was just officially accepted into job corps. Will be going through their Culinary program. So the next two years of my life will be spent getting payed to get an education . Yay!! My breasticles, hair, eyes and mouth... at least these are what I am most complimented on. When people take the time to get to know me, they realize that I am much more than a physical being - yes, the things I mentioned above are most-noticed on first sight, but a deeper look reveals a kind and loving person full of original thoughts and ideas who craves new information and learning.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Books: I can sit down with any book and be content for hours, but my favorites are Anthem by Ayn Rand and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.For awhile I found myself reading books with a high entertainment factor but no real substance ie. Dean Koontz Stephen King and Erica Spindler. My goal however is to start reading more books that will more than likely become favorites. Books that have a message behind them. On my to do list for books are Ayn rands The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged along with George Orwells 1984 and Animal Farm Amongst others. Right now I am reading (or studying rather) Holy Blood Holy Grail(the book that the book davinci code was based off). I have read it before but am re-reading it Hopefully some more of the ideas will sink in.
Movies: I don't have a favorite movie, but love movies in general. It amazes me that hundreds of people can work night and day on a film so that its audience can be entertained for 2 hours, yet the book will ALWAYS remain better. If I had to choose just a few they would be the original Star Wars Trilogy, (i know im an uber nerd and proud of it) Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (Hunter s. Thompson is a genius, and so is Johnny Depp for that matter *swoons*) And just about anything by Kevin Smith (Also a genius of human language and interaction [except Jersey Girl. I despise Jennifer Lopez and of all his works it is the most mediocre])

Music: "music is the soundtrack to your life" I adore music. The song I listen to most at the moment is 'chasing pavements' by Adele. The greatest song of all time is Stairway to Heaven. Other than that I couldnt tell you who my favorites are because it Changes so frequently. One Day I will be listening to Pink Floyd non stop the next it is Michael Franti. You just Never really know. I can find something I like about nearly every song that comes on the radio. Weather it be an amazing voice or a funky rhythm. I anything that will put a smile on my face.

Food: I enjoy food it keeps you alive. :D I do however consider myself a foodie. I like to always be trying new things.(Going through Job Corps Culinary program soon) I enjoy cooking so I am constantly trying out new ideas in the kitchen most of the time they are Monster hits with the family however I have produced one or two major flops. I love chicken in any form. ( except chicken Mcnuggets. did you know they use butane as a major binding agent in their mcnuggets? that's right you heard me. Butane, as in out of your lighter and into your stomach butane *blech*) I like nearly all vegetables (if they aren't overcooked) except Lima beans and Brussel sprouts. I am a fairly picky eater which is hell on our grocery bill but I cant help it if Legumes make me ill.

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

my family: My family has supported me through some horrible times. Especially my mom and my little sister who is also my best friend despite an 8 year age difference.
any book store: I am 100% addicted to the written word. I dont like libraries because when I fall in love with a book I dont want to have to return it so any time I go into a bookstore you will more than likely have to drag me out kicking and screaming or it least with a very large purchase in my arms.
my MP3 player: Music that stirs my emotions, and captures my heart. nuff said.
good conversation: thought provoking and memorable
new knowledge: im the queen of useless trivia in my circle. Mostly because I crave new knowledge. It doesnt have to be worthwhile knowledge as long as I am constantly learning something
good food: ie NOT Lima Beans NOT brussel sprouts and NO legumes. also raw oysters make my stomach churn.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

...the meaning of life, and why we, as a species, are who we are. I think about the state of the world, and the ability of good people to be a catalyst for real change, if they try.
