My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm serious about a lot of stuff, but don't take anything too seriously.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I'm CTO of Gunner Technology, which is a tech company I started with my former manager from ESPN (who also happens to be my best bud). I'm insanely passionate about our company and love doing stuff for my own business everyday. And we've grown a ton the past couple years, so we've got about a dozen different projects going on right now, which keeps things interesting.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
A whole mess of random stuff...

Musically, I play piano and guitar pretty well and I've been told I have a nice voice. Athletically, I'm a pretty mean tennis player, I'm a wannabe pool shark, and I'm good at shooting 3s. And other than that, I love all kinds of word puzzles and board games, especially Scattergories (possibly the greatest game ever invented).

The thing I'm best at though is golf and I'm desperately trying to get down to scratch. It's totally gonna happen one of these days.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A lot of people say I look like Ferris Bueller.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite Books: Blood Meridian, Nineteen Eighty-Four, The Stand, Watchmen, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, The Road, The Star's My Destination, Lord of the Flies, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Ben Hogan's Five Lessons, and Gödel, Escher, Bach.

Favorite Movies: All of Red Letter Media's stuff, The Big Lebowski, There Will Be Blood, The Fountain, Mulholland Drive, Gattaca, Guardians of the Galaxy (best summer movie I've seen since Jurassic Park), The Prestige, this unbelievable movie that went under the radar called Take Shelter (and Mud by the same director), this other movie called Lockout that no one saw that Luc Besson made, speaking of which... I'm ALWAYS down for The Fifth Element.

Favorite TV Shows: I'm going to leave my old list for reference, but I have to admit, once Breaking Bad ended... I kind of stopped watching TV. I still need some time to get over that show.

(Old list: Game of Thrones and Mad Men I watch on a weekly basis. My favorite old shows are Six Feet Under, The Wire, LOST, Firefly, Arrested Development, Twin Peaks, and Mr. Show with Bob & David. And I'm super pumped whenever I catch Jeopardy! Also, does anybody else watch the Korean show Running Man? Because it's the funniest show on television by miles and miles and miles.)

Favorite Music: Beethoven's Symphonies, Radiohead's Big 3 & From the Basement recordings, Getz Plays Jobim, early 70s Floyd shows, Velvet Underground, Elliott Smith, Talking Heads, Colin Meloy's cover albums, Ravel's String Quartet in F, live Arcade Fire shows, and, of course, the Mega Man 2 soundtrack.

Favorite Food: Kung Pao Tofu, Indian food, guacamole, grapefruit, coffee, coffee, coffee, Tofu Pad Thai, and coffee.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. The Internet
2. Golf
3. College Football
4. Movies
5. Games
6. Some musical instrument
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I'm forgetting to bring.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Now that I'm in the Pacific timezone and college football ends at a reasonable hour, who knows? But probably grabbing some delicious grub and seeing a new movie, let's be honest.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cried at the end of Marley & Me. Mildly hard.
