29, 5'4. Brown hair, brown eyes. :) Have a cat, lizard, and teddy bear. Likes reading and video games. (and perl is the best programming language ever). PhD in cognitive psychology and really dislikes winter. Trying to learn both chinese and japanese. Not sure what else to say (in a bit of a laconic mood).

What I’m doing with my life

Staring at my framed diploma on the wall, loving my new apartment, and trying to get back into all the hobbies and books that I have lying around.

I should be preparing my post-doc dissertation work, but am just enjoying the feeling of being free :) (Note: Its been a few months, so now it is just being lazy. doh!)

I’m really good at

misc. random stuff. eg. computers, programming. Tend to be shy about saying what I'm good at.

The first things people usually notice about me

dunno. they usually don't tell me. What's the first thing you noticed (wow, everyone says this, huh?).

They say my eyes or my smile... don't really get that.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: "The Logic of Failure" Dietrich Dorner. Also a fan of Dawkins, Neil Gaiman, Neil Stephenson, Dennett. Movies: Hero. There are a ton more I can list on here (Sleepy Hollow, Fifth Element, Usual suspects etc). Music: gah so much I like! eg. 40 Below summer, Adema, Bad Religion, techno Food: Sushi is by far and away my favorite, but I'm generally not fussy :)

The six things I could never do without

my teddy bear (who is the awesome, end all-be all),
computers (many of them, in different forms)
internet access (mmm, instant knowledge access...tasty)

water (regular, not that carbonated crap)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

stupid random shit.

On a typical Friday night I am

gaming (video and board), then sleeping, reading, giving my lizard a bath, playing on my computer.
