My self-summary
My overall healthy lifestyle is important to me. I'm very active and pretty good about what I put in my body. Exploration is key and keeps me on my toes, whether it be myself, my work, people, places, music, new foods, technology, or anything else that interests me. I am opportunistic but respectable and try to see the good in everyone and everything. I've lived in and enjoyed a bunch of different places over the past decade, my poison is Bulleit Bourbon neat with lime, and my weakness is a 5 dollar footlong from Subway. Either will get you on my good side 95% of the time.
What I’m doing with my life
The majority of my time is spent working for a pretty awesome mobile analytics company and amassing enough knowledge, contacts, and experience to one day run my own startup in the industry. Otherwise just trying to juice life as much as I can, usually running, surfing/snowboarding, practicing muay thai, at shows with friends.
I’m really good at
cooking killer breakfasts
anything with numbers
being a strong mentor, so I've been told
helping struggling mothers with baby carriages up subway stairs
The first things people usually notice about me
my long eyelashes....i get em from my momma
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
books: Malcolm Galdwell for non-fiction and Chuck Palahniuk for fiction
movies: American Psycho, City of God, Wet Hot American Summer, mostly anything by the Farrelly bros, Gaspar Noe, and Oliver Stone
music: I like what sounds good to me, whatever it may be. My favorite artist/band is Led Zeppelin (I'm a huge Led Head). I tend to listen to a lot of Nu Disco and down tempo house, and believe a sax or piano can make anything sound better.
food: Greek and Japaense FTW every time.
The six things I could never do without
iphone with my music
a hot shower
sleep cycle app (download it and you'd understand)
good people
fresh fruit
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- How I can better or challenge myself.
- Music
- creative/wacky inventions and innovations
- space and time, the universe and our place in it, how minuscule we are in the big picture, deep shit I know
- why so many girls list chap stick as one of their 6 "can't live without" things...
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing something....or not doing anything?...I'm probably not rescuing curious kittens out of tall trees at least, but you never know.
