My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a native Austinite who enjoys exploring the city (and other cities as well). I love finding out something new about the place Ive grown up. I did leave the area for a short while to go to school. During that time I was in the Dallas area and grew to like some things in the area but not enough to stay. I now divide my time between here and my family's ranch in Cuero, Tx.
I am a generally positive person but I do tend to be more realistic than idealistic. I enjoy spending time with those who have a quick wit and a great sense of humor that can challenge me intellectually. If you appreciate witty banter then I am your girl.

I am clever, ambitious, and adventurous
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Recently began working as a freelance XM event planner with a local marketing firm. Love every minute of it. Outside of that I catch up with friends over dinner or drinks, relax at the family ranch in Cuero, or investigating new sights around town.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Throwing myself into ambitious endeavors, photography (I love black and white), and baking (I make some mean cookies). I also have the knack for picking out the perfect present.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I havent taken the time to ask. If i were to think about it, people bring up my necklace alot. I am almost always wearing the same one.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My most recent favorite reads are Anthony Bourdain's and Chelsea Handler's books. My favorite classic is The Great Gatsby. Lately I have been reading alot of non fiction books discussing various cultural trends of late.
For movies I really enjoy Singing in the Rain, Roman Holiday, Tommy Boy, Amelie, The Dark Knight, any of Kevin Smith's films, the Hangover, Run Fat Boy Run (any Simon Pegg movie, really). Lately I have been into documentaries thanks to the abundance of them on Netflix.
My music tastes are all over but include, Minor Threat, Bad Religion, Senses Fail, Naked and Famous, Mumford and Son, the Killers, select catchy pop music that I can sing along with, Brett Dennan, Regina Spektor, Jimmy Eat World, Muse, Mika, Airborne Toxic Event, Jaw Breaker, Cranberries, Flogging Molly and others.
Food- the Parma Pizza at Mandola's, the sandwiches at Baguette, pho, F3 at Madam Mam's, coffee from Houndstooth, frozen yogurt.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My iPhone, netflix, friends/ family, the drive to do something more, laughter, and conversation
Please note that these are in no particular order
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The next step, my tentatively slated trip to Germany next spring, trying to remember all the places I need to check out around town and the name of that book ive been meaning to read.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I tend to spend Friday in watching movies with my dog or something equally as laid back. After the work day that just sounds best. To be truly honest I am known to do my grocery shopping on Fridays. Though I am easily persuaded to go out for a good show, drinks, or just to catch up. To make up for my low key Fridays I generally make big plans on Saturday. Roadtrips, paddle boarding and days at the river are slated for the near future.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
In due time. The best stories are unprompted and best told in close proximity.
