My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I guess people could characterize my personality as really outgoing and energetic, however, I do really enjoy a "chill" moment. Honestly, I think Van Wilder said it best "You shouldn't live life to seriously, you'll never get out alive." You'll find I consider my friends like family, and I rarely get angry and overly upset. I love adventure and I love the mountains. I'll try almost anything once.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, I'm living in Fort Collins attending Colorado State working on a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science. I perform carbon cycle research by computer modeling. I can explain more of what that means in person.

I love to have adventures. In the next year, I plan on doing a bit of travelling up some tall mountains, whitewater kayaking down some big rivers, lead climbing up a few ice faces, and maybe even skydiving. I also plan on giving my hand a try at some homebrewing, a couple 5k's, and exploring restaurants in the area (I'm a major foodie)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Karate, goofing off, being serious, being not serious at serious moments, breaking the ice, helping youth (I'm involved with the scouting movement), solo-climbing, adventuring, cooking, wanting to be a Bill Nye the Science guy.

my humor. I'm very light-hearted when I meet most people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: 1984, Animal Farm, anything by Socrates, Twelfth Night. As can be seen, I'm a sucker for the real classics.

Movies: I love action, mind-bender, sci-fi, and comedy. Some of my favorites include the Terminator series (Arnold just makes me laugh), Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, Billy Madison, Anchorman (I can pretty much recite the whole film), almost any Leonardo DiCaprio movie and same goes for Brad Pitt.

Shows: I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but I think any of the classic Nicktoons summarized my childhood. Nowadays I'm addicted to Breaking Bad, Scrubs, Tosh.0, and South Park as my main stream watches. Survivorman and Man vs Wild are good to feed my adventurous mind. Mythbusters and Modern Marvels can consume a whole day if I let them. It takes me awhile to really get hooked on a show, but when I do I watch them all the time

Music: As corny as it sounds, I love all music. My brother instilled that thought in me. I guess some bands I'll listen to usually are Blink 182, Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons, Sum 41, Earth Wind and Fire and more! The radio or pandora is always on in the office.

Food: I love to cook, seriously. I think staying in and cooking is so much more relaxing and fun than just going to some so-so restaurant. Southwestern, Italian, Japanese, and Latino styles are my favorite

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
my friends, clouds, carbon, mountains, fuzzy things. At the moment, I do spend a lot of my time thinking of my next food to make. I have a food blog for healthy spins on my favorite recipes!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am usually just being a bit of a busy bee. I like to scope out the local eateries for some good eats on Fridays. After that, I am out with my friends hanging out, camping, or passing out, its the perfect way to relax after a busy week.
