Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Nick, I went to Northwestern University, studying film
and computer engineering. Currently attending UC, might be going
back to Northwestern, it's all kind of up in the air at the
I like to go skiing and shoot pool, hang out with friends, stuff
like that. I'm fairly adventurous, willing to try almost anything
if it sounds like a fun time or it'll make for a good story.
I'm weirdly into grammar. I know the difference between who and
whom, and I'm way too willing to explain it.
I strongly dislike water-based fowl, geese in particular.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
drinking heavily (actually this skill has fallen by the wayside,
sadly...growing up and all that), playing pool, and skiing. Also,
reading way too much into movies/TV shows and going on rants about
the importance of optimism.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know...I can be fairly boisterous in social situations, so
I guess I can be a bit loud? I'm also moderately funny and pretty
personable, so there's that, I guess.
Also, I'm told I look like Ben Affleck in Argo fairly often.

Pretty much anything but horror. My favorites include When Harry
Met Sally, Shawshank Redemption, and the Godfather. Her made me
very happy, and I'm a big fan of post modern film. Also, Guardians
of the Galaxy is just pure joy in film form. I also enjoy most
superhero movies, any decent sci-fi film, and a lot of fantasy

the fifth), Parks and Rec (Bye bye Lil Sebastian), the Newsroom,

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Friends/Family/other lame yet crucial things to say
2. My ability to create numbered lists without difficulty
3. Tetris. Just Tetris.
4. Parmesan Cheese. I could eat it by the pound.
5. Netflix Instant Streaming
6. TVTropes. Seriously the best website on the internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Movies, mostly...really just any kind of fiction. I like looking at
how genres shift over time, and how they're indicative of the
society that produces them. Sounds kind of boring, but there is a
lot of cool stuff there.
Also, how much geese suck. And clowns. Seriously. They're terrible.
Take my word for it.
And, lastly...how I wish I were a superhero. But who doesn't wish
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drinking with friends, either at my place, a friend's place, a bar,
or a party. Nothing too out of the ordinary, just meeting new
people or spending time with the people I already know.
Or...I'm playing a video game/watching a movie by myself, on my
lazier, more introspective evenings.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I slept with a Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal until I was twelve. I
still have him in storage and slept with him for like a week after
I saw Toy Story 3.
Also, movies make me cry much more easily than real life.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You feel like it, have anything interesting to say, are stunningly
good looking with a personality to match, are not a goose...or a
clown. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. Other circus
performers may apply.
And, actually, if you're a goose with an OkCupid profile, I'd like
to talk to you. More out of curiosity than anything.
