Hi, I'm a 24 y/o slacker on the UES in denial about being a med student, trying to enjoy life instead of being a responsible adult. By this I mean I have a tendency to spend all my precious free time as unproductively as possible, ie going out for drinks, watching a film, playing games (of any variety), goofing off on the intertubes, or just sleeping in. Mmmm sleep, so under-rated. When I'm not doing one of the above or learning how not to kill patients, I'm usually running in the park, practicing a Japanese swordsmanship art, swimming, or checking out a show/festival/museum/venue.

Just finished my OB/GYN clerkship. I didn't mind getting blood on my shoes during deliveries, but the morning I found a piece of uterus in one of them after a hysterectomy was a bit much. Currently on Peds, where I've been very successful at making little children cry.

CPR, venipuncture, text-twist, cutting w/ a katana, picking red wine despite not knowing anything about wine, playing guitar poorly, making long elevator rides w/ strangers as awkward as possible, reading webcomics during lecture, skipping lecture, getting someone to sign me into mandatory lectures, holding my wine/sake/tequila but not my scotch/shochu/blue stuff
