My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, my name's Nicholas, and I really hate what I wrote here before so I figured I should make myself less incredibly annoying. I'm currently recovering from a fairly serious relationship, and have been for a while. Probably will be for a while longer. Despite that I'm generally pretty cheerful and good humored, if a little offensive and blunt sometimes. Really not sure what else to say about myself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Writing and programming an "adult" text-based game that has a small following and I will vehemently deny unless you ask about it nicely.
Also starting up work on a second project with a couple friends, but that's currently in the planning stages, so I'm not sure if it entirely counts.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing. Not to be too arrogant but I did make a small fan-base off it. At least, I assume it's the writing. The gameplay is absolutely terrible.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Either my hat, my beard, or how damn thin I am. Depending on if I am wearing the hat and/or have shaved recently (I haven't).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Scarpetta series, Pillars of the Earth/World Without End, I'm currently obtaining the Richard Castle books to read them, and the Deed of Pakesnarion and follow up series.

Movies: Whip It, Push, Devil Wears Prada. Those are the top 3 for me. Don't really have a ranking for any other movies.

Shows: The Mentalist (so far behind on this one. Latest season end please so I can marathon you), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Perception, Castle, Game of Thrones.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I had a list here. Since I wrote that list I've ended up doing without all of the things on said list. I don't think there's anything I really could never do without. I mean, I guess my laptop still counts.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Roleplay for my friends. I should be planning that. Instead I just panic about it.
What TV show is coming up that I need to watch next.
The wonders of the future.
Moral implications of some technologies that are expected to develop soon.
Also what I'd do if I had super powers. That one comes up a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At a friend's house doing planning for our game. Or watching WCS. Or editing my okcupid profile apparently.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wouldn't really call it private but I once ran head first into a sign on the train station because I was watching a leaving train and running alongside it to wave at people. I needed stitches, and yesterday I discovered I didn't actually need the tetanus shot I got for it. Still have the scar too.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you've made it this far through my summary without running away you'd probably enjoy at least a short conversation, so it'd be nice if you'd throw me a message. Or don't. If, y'know, you read this and think I'm insufferable. Either works.
