My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, my name's Nicholas, and I really hate what I wrote here before so I figured I should make myself less incredibly annoying. There was another thing here that was old and just as bad so it's gone now too. Despite that I'm generally pretty cheerful and good humored, if a little offensive and blunt sometimes. Really not sure what else to say about myself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to work on my book and failing. Editing is hard and youtube is so very easy.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing. Not to be too arrogant but I did make a small fan-base off it. At least, I assume it's the writing. The gameplay is absolutely terrible.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Either my hat, my beard, or how damn thin I am. Depending on if I am wearing the hat and/or have shaved recently (I haven't).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Scarpetta series, Pillars of the Earth/World Without End, I'm currently obtaining the Richard Castle books to read them, and the Deed of Pakesnarion and follow up series.

Movies: Alien, Whip It, Push, Devil Wears Prada, Iron Skies. Those are the top 5 movies for me, I will almost never say no to re-watching any of those. Except Iron Skies, it's position is mostly honorary.

Shows: The Mentalist, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Perception, Castle, Game of Thrones, Arrow, The Flash, Heroes Reborn, Battlestar Galactica, Gotham.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. The written word. I really like it. If it was all speaking I'd be sad.
2. Youtube? That'd more be an inconvenience if it was gone though. Just, a really big one.
3. Games. Not just video games but games of all sorts. Thinking about games, game theory all that jazz is really fascinating and fun.
4. Adblock. I just looked up and spotted it in my bar and was reminded of all the joys it brings.
5. My laptop. Yeah I know two things on the list are already there but it facilitates all the things.
6. The ability to commission art. I'm a terrible artist and oh my goodness the pretty things you can get by throwing like $30 at someone who can do art is amazing!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Roleplay for my friends. I should be planning that. Instead I just panic about it.
What TV show is coming up that I need to watch next.
The wonders of the future.
Moral implications of some technologies that are expected to develop soon.
Also what I'd do if I had super powers. That one comes up a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Running glorious Space RP for my friends who haven't seen Battlestar Galactica and thus think that I'm only taking loose inspiration and not blatantly stealing everything.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wouldn't really call it private but I once ran head first into a sign on the train station because I was watching a leaving train and running alongside it to wave at people. I needed stitches, and got a tetanus shot I didn't need. Still have the scar too.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you've made it this far through my summary without running away you'd probably enjoy at least a short conversation, so it'd be nice if you'd throw me a message. Or don't. If, y'know, you read this and think I'm insufferable. Either works.
