My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I’m an award winning poet, an internationally recognized scientific researcher, an ordained minister, I've been interviewed by the New York Times, I've sung at Carnegie Hall and best of all I’m humble.

Recent graduate of a biochemistry program now doing a post-bac on the mean streets of Brooklyn.

I moved to Bushwick with some friends while applying to medical school. I thought a science degree was supposed to be lucrative but apparently not so I started a job as a diamond grader.

Just trying to meet new people to hang out with. I feel like people overuse the word adventure so maybe let's just go check out that cool new pizza spot.

I can be serious at times, but that's really only when it comes to school work/future plans, the rest of the time I'm very laid back, willing to do anything, not afraid to get dirty if need be.

If you want to talk to me, feel free to shoot me a message.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Traveling as much as possible. Seeing what's the cheapest beer I can stand the taste of. Exploring all the parts of New York I hadn't gotten around to before.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Lifting heavy things. Putting them back down. Like MCAT review books. Or boxes of books. Or a table at the bar to make room for more people.
The first things people usually notice about me

I have a unique accent - part Brooklyn, part Ukrainian.
I have a beard - it's 100% Ukrainian.

I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The poetry contest was with Random House (I won a $500 scholarship), the scientific conference was in Paris (I won 2nd place), the ministry is the Open Ministry (still allowed to marry someone), the interview was about a prank at my high school (We almost got an extended winter vacation) and the concert at Carnegie Hall was in my middle school chorus (A bunch of schools were chosen).

Perspective is weird.
