I am actively retired. I enjoy reading, cooking, travel, sports,
music of most types (blues, oldies, some jazz, baroque, even some
old country) , good movies, and a walk of any kind. My daughters
are grown and living in other places. I can be the life of the
party but I will still be a little shy getting to know you (maybe
not).
I love going to the MACC and I volunteer with children at the
Pacific Whale Foundation.
I am a volunteer reader at the grade school. I love and value the
innocence and wonder and truth of children.
I am busy writing a novel and a screenplay and take various
classes.
Spirituality is more important than religion. I like most sports,
swimming, boogie boarding , biking, etc., and long walks holding
your hand. An important requisite for a good life is a good sense
of humor.
A good match would be someone who can hold up her end of the
conversation while being open to divergent viewpoints. Humor and
laughter (even a little irreverent at times) is a must. A lover of
good books, good music, good food, good and bad pets, and kids of
all ages.
Truth in Advertising: I live fairly well on an adequate but not
spectacular retirement income. I also travel out of the country at
least once a year.
