Right now I am doing Ph.D. studies in computer graphics and video compression, and really enjoying it. Most people would call me a geek, but I'd rather spend my time with my friends than sitting all night long in front of a computer.

Music: mostly all kinds of rock (including metal), but also jazz/blues, (old time) schlager, 80-s pop, 70-s disco etc. - basically everything, except electronic music like techno, house, dubstep.

Movies / Books: mainly science fiction / fantasy as well as comedy.
