Although I grew up in St. Paul and went to school in blustery Maine, I despise winter. I slowly made my way south to avoid cold weather. I worked in Providence after college and did my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in the South. I have now migrated back to the Northeast and work in the Psychiatry Dept at a hospital in Boston. Since I am new to the area, I am excited to get to know this city and find fun distractions from the (sometimes) dreary world of psychiatry.

As an undergrad, I majored in film studies, and that continues to be an interest of mine. In my free time, I enjoy catching up on new films and rewatching old classics. I am very close with my two sisters and my friends from high school and college. A common denominator between myself, my sisters, and the friends I choose to surround myself with, is humor.
