Born in California. Lived in Hawaii almost 25 years.

Back in birth state but would like to return to Hawaii eventually. Want to travel more. Have not been to Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe, South America or New Zealand. Passport is Valid. Will you be a good travel partner?

Arrived in So Cal after 8 months in New York City Suburbs. Went into NYC 3-4 times a week.

Enjoy Museums. Enjoy road trips. Enjoy out door stuff. Enjoy meditation. Not into gym but went with my sister last night. Prefer my exercise the old fashioned way. Outdoors. I get the convenience of it after living in cold weather but seems like the science and technology are there to be safe outside 24/7 365?

Like movies and live music. Good designated driver. Not a teetotaler but can go months without drinking. Interesting in wine tasting and also Sake and Shochu and Beer pairings with Food. Spent a lot of time in Japan.

Want to sail more. Sailed from Panama to Hawaii via Costa Rica in late 90's.

Turning 40 this year so would like to do things 40 times. Ideas include 40 days of surfing. 40 fun dates with same fun woman (not a player). Please inbox me ideas realistic or absurd.

I have a flexible schedule in a Health Care Career that I have enjoyed for 18+ years. I try not to bore people with talking about my Job or My life. I fly under the radar so have too many stories and adventures to vomit on here.

I am trying to be as free as possible. Recently sold my Home so a lot of exciting possibilities in life right now.

Considering Graduate School but travel and living a great life has been my greatest education in addition to my extensive undergrad experience while working a lot.

Have travelled extensively but still have many places to see.

Would like to find a good female friend that is interested in dating and eventual long term relationship if we are compatible. I believe in chemistry but have many great female friends. Try to avoid the friend zone and if I am attracted to you I will tell you and not play games.

I am committed to my own path of personal growth. Would be great to find someone to commit the next 50 years with who is on a similar trajectory. If not, I enjoy being alone and with friends and family. Never one to settle or waste other Women's time. That being said I have been known to move mountains to be with the woman I love.

If you haven't noticed from my pictures only way I have my eyes open is by flashing hang loose or Shaka. I hear there are medications and surgical procedures to cure this so I swear I get the rare good photo. If you are into pictures then I am not your guy:)

I am good at learning new things and being interested in where I was and where I am now. Can adjust easily so am brave and excited about my future path in life.

I am good at putting my foot in my mouth. I am good at confusing East Coast Analytical Black and White Conservative types.

I am sometimes so far out of the Box in my ideas and thinking that the MARS rover couldn't find me or understand me.

I am good at laughing at myself. Trying to get better about being kind to myself. Sarcasm and clumsy humor hurts. Trying to cause as little pain and suffering as possible in this life.

The first thing people usually notice about me is that I am very tall, bald and friendly.

I have a slight accent from growing up in Hawaii so most people ask me where I am from.

I enjoy all types of books and movies.

I have been reading mostly Dharma Buddhist Books. I would like to read the Pulitzer Prize Authors since 1973.

I purposely am avoiding TV so I can read more.

I tend to try to read books leisurely. I have a crazy good memory for stories. I have been trying to record some family stories more than reading about other stories.

I like to explore an eclectic range of subjects. Try to be well rounded and open minded.

Music is great. I like having periods of silence. I have not been listening to music in the car lately so I can be more mindful of driving and can pay more attention to LA and outdoors.

I am a huge NPR dork. I love PBS. I love documentaries.

I want to watch all the oscar award winning movies since 1973.

I can't get into musicals for some reason. I think my sisters forced me to watch sound of music or it just never seemed real why people would skip and dance and sing loudly in public?

My Musical tastes are very ecclectic (not epileptic).

My Dad is a Hippie. My Nieces were rock divas in past lives.

Just can't get into whining country which I can't tell certain relatives about. Oh, If you meet them do not tell them I am a buddhist. I am already a bit of a black sheep for being from hawaii and living in the buddha belt outside the bible belt!

I have done without a lot of those above and by all means none of the above are in any random order. I am not needy or materialistic. Low Maintainance but appreciate living and quality things in life.

I am a Thinker of very deep questions to very silly random thoughts.

I work doing shifts so I don't have a normal schedule.

I may be working some Friday nights but when I am off I enjoy being with friends and spending quality time with family.

Do not drink often or smoke so bar or club scene is not my thing. I will go out to bars or clubs with a group of friends because I don't mind laughing and having fun and being a dependable designated driver.

I am very transparent and open.

My Dog (boxer lab mix) is my better half. She is more into meeting friends than other dogs but seems to like Bossy or playful medium to large size dogs. Never done this but guess on LA they arrange play dates for dogs?

Where is best neighborhood in LA?

Do you Think I would be an interesting Guy to be friend with first that can possibly lead to dating and a commited relationship?

I am good at responding to messages.

You get bonus points if you make the first move because not on here much and may go weeks without responding.

You get major point deductions if you don't respond at all. I suck at math and trying QTIP (quit taking it personal) approach on OKC.

I found that it can be very slow to respond.

I am not photogenic. I interview better on the phone and in person than in a written photo essay.

I get you are busy but aren't we all busy and trying to meet people in person?
