My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! I'm an English teacher residing in the Taipei area. I'm typically considered an overseas Chinese because of the 20+some years that I spent growing up abroad. Despite a predominately western education, I'm also in touch with my Chinese roots as well, and would consider myself to be fluently bilingual.

My story in a nutshell would be that I'm a son of a diplomat for the ministry of foreign affairs, so as one could imagine, I have a very nomadic upbringing. Growing up in many different countries gave me a richer perspective and worldly knowledge. But obtaining that has its price too. The drawback of being a foreign affairs brat is that you grow up with an ambivalent sense of cultural identity. I appreciate people who can relate to this. I find small town girls who never flown on an airplane or traveled outside of their home country to be... ignorantly blissful. I find it harder to relate to people like that.

Contact me if you're:
Genuinely interested in making a friend
Curious about my many travel experiences
Have experiences that are similar to mine
Willing to take a little risk, like eventually meeting in person instead of just messaging back and forth.

-How to redesign our current world order; how to unite the world and abolish the artificial borders that separate people and nations, just like the internet, a globalized network.

-The Venus Project and ideas of Jacque Fresco

-Predicting the future and the foreseeable consequences in the near future, like once fossil fuels are depleted, machines replace human labor, AI advances to the point where they displace human jobs, the next great depression and financial disaster that inevitably follows, the beginning of a new world order or a revolution. I can write a book about it.

-How to generate positive cash-flow with minimal effort

-How to play and master this game of financial prosperity, then retire early to try out a new kind of lifestyle... like how to pursue an alternative lifestyle living off the grid, not like a hermit or misanthrope, but like with a small group of friends and/or significant other.
