My Self-Summary

Hmmm... I've landed in this weirdly silent town that continues to throw interesting people in my path, still not really feeling settled. I've found work that's meaningful and challenging to me and keeping enough fresh air, bright people, and new experiences in the mix. I'm doing my best to set out my own ground, holding together principles, dreams and wanderlust with focus and steady work and figuring out how to approach some of the rougher problems of the world from the easiness of Ottawa life. And in between, I bask in the sunshine when it passes by and appreciate the quiet hours of night. I also know I need a few more solid and crazy friends nearby.

What I’m doing with my life

Exploring how to take a stand and build something from inside a system so big I can't see the edge of it

and travelling as much as possible to far-off places and sometimes close-by ones

I’m really good at

making salad, swimming in lakes, talking about abstract issues til the wee hours, landing in a new place and finding my way, trivia, debating current events, afternoon naps.

A lopsided smile, possibly running a little late (?!), and easily provoked by political commentary. :)
