I am in a wonderful poly relationship with the beautiful betnybean and while I'm not looking for anyone else to share my life with, I love to make friends and find lovely diversions, ideally in the same place!

I love to meet new people both at home and on the road.

I work from home, which rocks, except for when I travel out of town. I travel about 1-2 days every 2 weeks.

I love to learn - I thrive on it. It's been too long since my last big project - I think I'll need to pick up sailing again now that I'm in Sydney. I've also been thinking about learning an Asian language as well for work. I'd love to find a cheap motorcycle over here as soon as it stops raining every day. I always like to be learning new things/skills, it keeps me from getting bored.

I don't really do sexuality labels much - but the most appropriate would probably be "heteroflexible". I basically take things as they come, and try not to have too many preconceived notions.

I realize why this is difficult now - because so much of what I say as a person is said with body language - I don't need to say it out loud. We don't have the benefit of that here, so what does my body tell people?

-There's a lot to me - I can be "indie t-shirt" guy one night, dark suit with red Chuck Taylors the next, I like to experiment with different looks for different occasions.
-I am a geek, but that doesn't define me. I'd like to think there's not much that does.

Back from a year overseas, buying a new house and an expecting father. Should be a big year!

I look younger than I am. And that I hear that I remind people of someone they know. I'm not sure if that's good or not, I'll let you figure that out. :)

Books:
Dark Tower / Gunslinger series, Rendezvous w/ Rama series, tons of tech podcasts (not sure which category this goes in really), whatever instructional book I'm reading at the moment

Movies:
Anything by Tarantino (esp. Reservoir Dogs), stupid humor (Airplane, Spaceballs), Monty Python stuff, anything disturbing (Oldboy, Ichi the Killer, Irreversible)

Music:
I'm still on my crush for The Postal Service. I think Death Cab is a good homage but doesn't seem to match their older stuff. Mostly I let Pandora take the wheel. Just found Soma FM recently and love most of the stations on their app. Always a sucker for covers.

Food:
I'm very easy to eat out with - I can find something to eat anywhere. Favorites? New favorite is Korean BBQ from a recent trip to Seoul. Fish and chips has been a good one here, sushi, Indian, and a good pizza is always welcome.
