My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an American currently on an extended holiday in NZ and throughout the Pacific. I am an easy-going guy who enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and learning more about the world. I seem to have a knack for getting myself into funny situations without trying. I tend to have a self-deprecating sense of humor and find the funny side of things, even if sometimes in inappropriate circumstances, unfortunately :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to be a good person and enjoying my life. But, my day job is as an equities investor.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making fun of myself and I have been told that I am a pretty good sounding board for other people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm fairly tall (6'3") so that usually catches people's eyes first.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I seem to be drawn toward stories and movies that have an element of redemption in the story. I do like the quirkiness of Wes Anderson films.

I tend to find myself watching documentaries, history, and science related shows on TV. I'm not much of a fan of reality TV, though.

I have a varied range of music likes and can pretty much find something to like in nearly any type of music. Really like most anything by Sigur Ros, the Beatles, the Cure, Kraftwerk, and nearly anything in between.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I like a simple life, so I really think I could do without most of the things I have with the exception of my family and friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
More things than I should be spending that much time on.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't seem to have typical nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Clowns kind of creep me out.
