I'm originally from Southern California and lived in Chicago for three years prior to moving to San Francisco. I think my first winter in Chicago was really something different and exciting. By the arrival of the third winter it wasn't very interesting at all - it was just cold! Otherwise an awesome city.
I've been in San Francisco for several years now and have been enjoying the variety of activities that living in the Bay Area has to offer - hiking, biking, restaurants, the occasional half-marathon. It's a fun place to live (and very different than SoCal). I recently went curling. It was fun but I don't think I'll be getting an invitation to the Olympic trials any time soon.
I generally maintain a healthy lifestyle and I'm a familiar face for the morning crowd at the gym. But I do have a weakness for ice cream.
I'm always up for an adventure (which is how I discovered Chicago). This might mean a hike, getting on the bike or heading somewhere fun.
Most recently I've been doing some volunteering making pies and helping out at Habitat for Humanity.
