I am really laid back, and other than business I have a pretty relaxed and liberal attitude to most things. I like people to have control over their own bodies, minds and destinies.

I take an interest in Politics, and I love debating thorny issues of liberty, society, football and religion. I rarely change my opinions, but try to do so rationally and without being to attatched to them.

I like to research things, and be fully prepared. I also like to get lost and do the first thing that pops into my head sometimes, especially when it comes to vanishing into the countryside to hug some trees and splash my feet in a stream.

I am hard work in relationships, as I am opinionated, stubborn and firey, but I'm mellowing with age. I am getting quite mushy too, must be the heart drugs ;)

I currently create green it prototypes, specifically single board computer based low power devices. I also make and sell them in short runs.

I also work as a visual artist behind DJs and live acts, past shows have included Grooverider, DJ Fresh, Doctor P, Caspa, Vadim, Felix Cartal and many others across the Electro House, Drum and Bass and Dubstep genres. Mixmag described my Electro House visual & lighting install as 'like stepping into the rave cave'.

Part of this is a love of photography and cinematography, and after 15 years of learning composition and a whole host of things shooting landscapes I've finally started working with humans.

I love to spend time in the hills or on the beach, just enjoying the different lighting as the day moves forward, and I often disappear into the countryside to recharge my batteries and work on my camera skills.

I am also recovering nicely from a heart event which left me with permanent damage three years ago. Unfortunately this has reduced my energy levels drastically over the last five years, and I am still uncertain about where I am going to end up in terms of the final point of recovery.

I am completely open about my condition, and can tell many fine tales of being dead (3 times now) and coming back. The last attempt my body made on my life was extremely close, and took 18 months to recover from, this has left me with an extremely high level of personal resilience which some people can find unusual.

This has led me to end up taking large quantities of non-recreational drugs daily.

Relaxing, entertaining, travelling. I have some modest image making skills, actually modesty aside my photography is beautiful. I also know a few things about computers.

I'm a bit bear like and my heart condition makes me retain fluid in my chest so I look a bit like I'm pregnant. I have dark blue eyes, and lots of facial scars and I'm missing half of two front teeth from a vicious beating I took a long time ago. A lot of people find me scary, and I've acted the comedy villain a couple of times.

Books ? Mostly non fiction IT stuff, I tend to read mostly utopian and dystopian tech/sci influenced fiction, with a side helping of classics from Homer to Conrad via all kinds of places.

I have really varied tastes in music from chilled dubstep through to doom metal. Today I have listened to Machine Head, Bob Marley, Thievery Corporation, Mungo's Hi Fi, Zion Train, Woods of Ypres, Anathema, S.P.Y., Prodigy, Roots Manuva, Mt. Eden, Breakage, Orbital, Netsky, Paradise Lost, VNV Nation, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Collie Buddz, Nero, Cypress Hill, Infected Mushroom, Johnny Cash, Phaeleh, Mr Scruff, Nina Simone, DJ Shadow, Ancient Astronauts,Veela.

I like pretty cheesy movies, Die Hard, Apocalypse Now, RED, 51st State, Nikita, Contagion and others, but I have a serious movie watching side too where I enjoy the work of Tarkhovsky and other Soviet film makers.

I like the concept of post apocalyptic societies, so you I also love Zombie movies and any end of the world catastrophe films.

I also like to play video games.
