I read some Murakami a bit ago. Hardboiled Wonderland and the End of the World. It was fantastic. Then some Cormac McCarthy. He is one of my favorites. Then some Jane Austen, followed by Lolita, and Plato. I'm also looking at some Yeats right now and reading Flannery O'Connor's short stories again.

Other great writers I like: Rilke, R.G. Collingwood, Henri Bergson, David Mitchell. Other stuff. I like books.

I like music. Lately, Perfume Genius, Owen Pallett, Frightened Rabbit, Spoon.

I love watching bad cooking shows, like Hell's Kitchen and Top Chef and Chopped. I like GOT too.

I eat lots of food. Like hardboiled eggs and burritos and tacos and lots of beans and kale and salsa and ice cream and whatever.

In 2014 I was the 10th best barista in the NW and one of the best latte art competitors in Seattle. Then I quit coffee for corporate life, but I still love making and drinking and thinking about nice coffee.

I'll make you the most interesting cup of coffee you've ever had.
