I have been taking some of the tests on this site and gaining insight into my ego, superego and id. How can I be Batman and SpongeBob SquarePants at the same time? I am also Anne Boleyn. But according to one of the test I am "boring" while another has declared me "sane". Two others find me to be a Hippy Doris Day. I think that one is correct...I am a Hippy Doris Day and I will embrace that identity.

This is the serious stuff some people like to know:
I moved to Arkansas 4 years ago to be near my elderly mother. Before that I spent 30 years in Dallas. I was married for 22 years and have 2 grown kids who still live in Texas. I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in business. I owned a nice little gift shop in Dallas for about 10 years but gave it up to move to Arkansas.

Life is good. All I need to make it complete would be someone to share the good times. I want someone who can make me laugh and will "get" my humor. A great sense of humor is a must. I am equally comfortable in jeans or an evening gown...camping or at the symphony. I am pretty independent and like some alone time. I have 2 grown kids who live in Texas so I have a lot of free time on my hands.

At the age when most people are thinking of retiring, I decided to change careers.
I took paralegal training and I am now working in a corporate legal department and I love my job....it beats sitting on my porch swing wondering why there is a car in my neighbor's driveway with Texas plates on it... or watching to see when they put their trash out.
I spend time with my best Bud who is a German Shepherd/Husky mix. I am also slowly updating my 70 year old house.

I am really tall...

I love movies and see them all good and bad. Choosing my favorite would be like choosing my favorite child. But some good ones I have seen lately are:
Appaloosa
and
Slumdog Millionaire.
I used to read a lot but seldom make the time anymore. I used to read a lot of Stephen King and loved "Interview With A Vampire"
Food - I love it all, but do not ask me to try Sushi...yes, yes, I am sure it is great.
Music - I love it all except RAP (which is not music, but a four letter word which begins with a capital C) and also, the New Wave Euro Stuff.

Why I keep taking silly tests on OkCupid.com and are there any other Hippie Doris Day's in the world?...and better yet...are there any sane men out there looking for a Hippie Doris Day who is boring and sane and is upset that they ONLY scored 92% on the Beatles Lyrics test?
