Unusual gentleman seeks open minded, irreverent, lady for clever banter and general shenanigans about town. Actually, I have no idea what I'm seeking, but shenanigans always seem like a good idea. I'm looking forward to meeting someone with a few similar interests (movies, literature, fitness, tennis, skiing, the arts anyone?) and a few similar perspectives (liberal, agnostic, open-minded at least!) In the end, it's all about the chemistry, and that can't be matched by computer. So, if you think you might be interested in meeting an active, fit, educated professional for wide ranging conversation and eclectic cultural adventures, I'd be excited to hear from you. An affection for all music from classic crooners (Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra) to album rock (the Green Day show was awesome!) appreciated, but not required. A tolerance for my overuse of parenthesis might be a requirement.
Identify this quote and I'll buy drinks when we meet!
"For what do we live, but to make sport for our neighbors, and laugh at them in our turn?''
Actually, I'll buy drinks even if you can't correctly identify the quote. This is a dating site, not Jeopardy.
I'm pretty much WYSIWYG. I've got an interesting and challenging career, but it doesn't define me. I have plenty of time and energy to maintain other interests. I stay very fit: I'm a runner, love to ride my bikes (mountain and road, not Harley) and I lift weights as required. I'm no aficionado, but I really enjoy the performing arts, whether it's the symphony, ballet or theater. MoMA in NYC is one of my favorite places on earth, but that's only because I haven't been to Greece, Italy or the Louvre - yet.
