admittedly, that is not a summary. but any day where i got to experience all of those things might just be the perfect day. Ideally i would like to spend all of my time getting tired good (as opposed to tired bad), and being tired bad.

I have a ton of random stories, and i'm pretty good at telling them. if you want to hear one, just ask.

I like going to the gym, but i would much rather play a sport or do something (rock climbing?) I love moving.

Right now I'm teaching, and coaching a high school fencing team but i don't plan on doing that (teaching) forever. im also running a summer camp in maine. if any one is certified in ropes and adventure, we're hiring.

Books:
I love to read and kind of hate the idea of compiling a list. sorry. I would love to talk about it though.
My favorite author is Tom Robbins, but i also really enjoy Colson Whitehead. The Iliad is not my favorite, but it might be the greatest thing i've ever read.

Movies:
I could spend all day in a movie theater and not complain once. my favorite is ghostbusters, but i also really like cool hand luke. I have a hard time watching anything more than once, but i'll watch those two movies and a few others whenever i get the chance.

I love to eat. thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. italian, russian, greek, and afghan are my favorite cuisines by country and i really appreciate home cooking. nothing is wrong with a good cheeseburger

i put off writing about music for a few weeks, but i think its time to give it a shot. I love the stuff. my favorite artists in no particular order are Elvis Costello, Johnny Cash, Jay-Z, Metallica (early), Lupe Fiasco, Nas, Bruce Springsteen, and many others. Genre wise my favorite is hip-hop, but i think i enjoy the best of all genres with the exception of country.
