My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Mike. I'm a creative, generous, sensitive, quirky person. I detest monotony and strive to make my life as interesting as possible. I'm a hard-worker and hold a good work ethic whilst following a set of convictions and morals. You'll probably never meet anyone like me, I can almost assure you that.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
While holding a full-time job in the culinary arts, I'm also pursuing a career in writing and film on the side. It's close to never that I'm not doing something interesting and worthwhile.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being humorous and creative.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm told my eyes and the way I use them to express myself without having to say a word. And when I do say something, it's usually my sense of humor, dry and sarcastic, that people find themselves intrigued and/or enamored with.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
A couple of my favorite books are The Rum Diary and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson, although I hated the film adaptation of the second.

My five favorite movies are: Midnight Cowboy, Boogie Nights, Moving, Bad Timing and The Ice Storm.

My five favorite musical artists/acts are: Brian Wilson, Todd Rundgren, The Beatles, Elton John and many, many more.

I don't really watch a lot of TV, but a show I've been watching frequently is 'George Lopez' and as far as food goes, I can't name something in particular, although I find myself eating a lot if Italian, despite working in restaurants specializing in it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:

1. Music
2. Family
3. Friends
4. My car
5. My cats
6. Humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Story and lyrical/song ideas are generally floating around my mind more often than not. I also just find myself pondering life in general, where I'm going, who I am, attempting to be as objective as possible.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends. Usually working. If for some reason I'm off, I'll attempt to figure out something to do like catch a movie or go out with a couple friends to someplace interesting, perhaps a bar to catch a drink, nothing ridiculous or excessive.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're open-minded, good-humored, intelligent and find me intriguing and/or attractive. (It seemed ignorant to post something like 'if you're attractive', so I strayed from that, aside from noting it here in the parentheses.)

I implore you to send me a message as I enjoy when someone initiates contact with me. :)
