I'm the kind of person who hates pinning himself down to a description.

I moved to Carrboro after taking a few months off to bike around North Carolina (almost 2000 miles). Before that I lived in Raleigh, attending college, living for a period of time in a ridiculous activist house, and I'm now transferring to a new school in my new area. I live with my housemate's two cats, who are probably the most frustrating animals that I have ever dealt with. They're still pretty cool though.

I like exploring the world, going new places and meeting anyone and everyone. I have a love hate relationship with coffee. I feel like I'm starting too many sentences with the word I. I'm excited because I just managed to accidentally both start and finish a sentence with the word I. (Twice!!)

Update - I have just acquired a motorcycle. Exploration has begun!! Who knew there were all these... PLACES around here.

Update 11/7 - Motorcyle is NOT the ideal mode of transportation in the winter. Wind chill is insane!! I'm going to Italy next week. I'm fantastically excited.

I am preparing to go back to school, and in the mean time I'm living and working and learning EVERYTHING!!

I'm really good at figuring things out. Give me something that needs done, and I'll figure out how to do, the quick way, the best way, or the most interesting way.

I'm really good at pretending that I'm actually good at things.

I'm really good at understanding people. I look at them and watch them, and then I could tell you their story. Best place to do this: Airports, Bus Stops, Train Stations. People in a transit are laid bare.

The six things that I could never do without:

My bike.
Books, any of them, and all of them.
Music, playing it, listening to it, wishing I was better at it.
Time to do nothing.
The world, and all the things in it.
Language.

Come to think of it, there aren't many tangible things that I couldn't give up. I love my things, but if I had to, I could walk out of my house with nothing but the clothes on by back, and just keep going, never looking back. It's a nice thing.

That said, I love warm showers, fresh made beds, and my kitchen.

I spend a lot of time thinking about people. I can't imagine anything more interesting than the people that populate our world.

You should message me if you want to talk, hang out, share music, books, movies, cook, eat, adventure, or anything. Most especially talk, though. Good conversation is sometimes hard to come by, especially consistently.
