My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
First off, I am quite happily married, thank you very much. Met the woman of my dreams on this site and was lucky enough to get to spend my life with her. See, people, it DOES work.

I'm here for friends only and I don't even know if that would be possible. Let me know if you think it is!

I enjoy eating and cooking good food and there's not much I love more than getting to cook for others. Having worked as a bartender for seven years, I know how to make a wicked cocktail. Hell, I'll even get you drunk and you won't know what hit you. I love movies, music and talking about bullshit for hours on end. I love sleeping but I hate going to bed in the evening. I despise getting up in the morning, but I'm pretty good at it.

I also tend not to be late when I'm supposed to be on time. If I'm ever late, I'll deny ever stating such a fact, though. Just let me know, so I can remove it from this profile. Thanks.

I'm apparently only a 92% match for myself. That's really fucking with my head. Maybe I'll get on my own nerves one day.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working. At times, attempting to make movies and write movie scripts. Being in love. Being too social (that means I spend way too much money when being social...I could be social without spending money I guess, but...it's too much fun going to bars, coffee shops and restaurants).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Calming down upset people. Underestimating myself. Overestimating others. Memorizing lyrics and stand up comedy. Drinking you under the table (actually, probably not). Drinking myself under the table. Listening to music. Can you be good at listening to music?

My extremely hot ass, of course.

I decided to actually add some books, movies, and music that I like here.

Books. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Kitchen Confidential, A Plot Against America, Middlesex, 1984, The Old Man and the Sea, The Divine Comedy, American Pastoral, Animal Farm, A Song of Ice and Fire, Lord of the Flies, The Bourne Trilogy, Lord of the Rings and so on.

Movies The Godfather Trilogy, Kill Bill 1&2, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Lost Highway, Blues Brothers, Memento, Mulholland Drive, Dinner Rush, Blue Velvet, Easy Rider, Natural Born Killers, JFK, Pi, Sunshine, Pulp Fiction, Se7en, Brazil, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Star Wars Trilogy, Twelve Monkeys, The Usual Suspects, Love Actually, Apocalypse Now, Dr Strangelove, The Back to the Future Trilogy, Jurassic Park, The Labyrinth, The Matrix Trilogy, Scarface, Training Day and so on ad infinitum.

Music. Here's a selection from my current playlist: Tom Waits, Lana del Rey, Barry Adamson, tindersticks, Johnny Cash, Foo Fighters, Danko Jones, Jamie Cullum, Korn, Queen, The Who, Leonard Cohen, Tool, Portishead, Beastie Boys, Jay-Z, Alice in Chains, Pete Yorn, The Beatles, Imogen Heap, Faith no More, Pink Floyd, Audioslave, Pharrell, The Strokes and so on...

Food. Seriously, I eat almost anything. I cook pretty much daily. I run a food blog, for crying out loud. I wish I could learn to like olives though. They look so good but I can only have the one before I have to stop.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My computer, coffee, my phone, my sanity, my kitchen and my friends of course.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
...uh. Where to go and what to do when I get there.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Tired after work, but very willing to go out for a drink. Sometimes three or more. Or the movies. Then there are those not-so-rare occasions when I go shopping and cook for too many people. They usually go home at 4 in the morning and I pass out and sleep until Sunday. I like those days. Yeah, those days are good.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Giving is better than receiving. Yeah, I went there.

And I am talking about Christmas and stuff. What, what did you think?

You feel like it. Read my profile and liked it. Read my profile and hated it. Didn't read my profile but thought "hey that guy looks like a cool cat". Feel like you want to get to know me better. Feel like you need to tell me how awesome I am. Feel like you need to tell me what a jackass I am.

But yeah, friends only. The only reason I didn't pick "everybody" in the "I'm looking for" section is because I got bored seeing half-naked guys in my emails. K? K.
