My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name's Ross. I have a mild-mannered personality, but I can also be affable and less introverted when I have time to thaw out of it. I have a penchant for self-deprecating humor, playful cynicism, and quick tongued wit. I work part time and attend community college, I want to transfer to a university so I can pursue my future. however, I am still figuring out my existence on the planet. I am just aware of my interests / obsessions and am trying to connect passion with a future use. I won't settle, I know that much.

I have a strong passion for music, I take a ridiculous amount of pride in my vinyl record collection and turntable setup. Vinyl is tangible, a mp3 is the opposite. You really can't appreciate an album until you have heard it in analogue. Music is my meditation, it exonerates me from the mundanities of life.

I am unsure of what I am looking for, I have only been on a few dates and haven't truly had a serious partner. I am inexperienced when it comes to dating, but at the same token I have had my share of heartbreak and experienced the coarsing sting of unrequited love to die a thousand sorrows. I would like to meet platonic friends, I want to meet people with similar interests that can broaden my horizons and make life more bearable and fun. If it happens I meet someone that breaks the barrier of a platonic friend, becoming plutonic I won't mind it, but be aware of my naive sensibilities in a "new world". As far as a relationship is concerned, I find confidence, maturity and honesty attractive, a easily approachable personality in other words. I quit smoking cigarettes and never done drugs, it would be nice if you didn't either.

Usually working, or I'll be listening to vinyl or reading a book after work. Sometimes I'll be at a concert. I always look forward to Sunday nights for Sirius XM's DarkWave, three wonderful hours of '80s Goth, Alternative and Industrial music. My heart skips a beat when the disc jockey plays my request.
