My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up outside Chicago with parents who loved books, took us to eat Ethiopian food and taught us to cook. Since living in Tournai, Belgium at 16, I've lived in Montréal, Québec and Tübingen, Germany. I studied history in college and loved every minute of it... and then... I became a paramedic :)

OK. I'm political. I'm over-educated. I'm liberal. I'm blue collar. I bike. I swim. I beer. I theater. Minneapolis and me have an understanding, see? She provides the lakes, the beer, the summers, the bike trails and the liberal government and I provide healthcare to her teeming masses. So far it's worked out well. Join me!

Paramedic by night, coffee shop bum and two-cent philosopher and grad student at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health by day. It's a wonderful blend of rarified academia and gritty, exciting street drama.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Wikipedia-ing. Some recent subjects I've learned about: Canadian Postal Codes, the Battle of Waterloo, Cuisine of Portugal, Rudi Giuliani, Red Wing, MN, Lake Champlain, Pomerol, the Sloth, Antananarivo, Madagascar, the Trans-Siberian Railway, the Golden Gate Bridge, the French and Indian War, Poutine, Cider, the Robert Taylor Housing Project, the Stockholm Metro, and so on in that fashion.

The humor in Home Movies or Bob's Burgers is as close to perfect as I have found on TV.
