This is my first foray into internet dating and I'm still on the fence, but I have an open mind. I'm always up for meeting new people in town.

-born in Palo Alto, California
-grew up in Durham, NC
-graduated from Duke University in '05, studied English
-got a master of fine arts (MFA) in Creative Writing from UNC-Wilmington, '10
-moved from the beach (Wilmington/Wrightsville) to Ashevegas in summer of 2010

I work as a fly-fishing guide for an outfitter in Asheville. I also help run a writers' retreat in the mountains during the fall and spring, and during the winter I work for Duke evaluating the applications/essays of prospective students. I'm also working with an agent in nyc on getting my first novel published.
