I am a maker of stuff, a thinker of things, and a go-er of places.
My Self-Summary
I am loyal and true and not too hard to look at. I have never been
to Wal-Mart. I will bring you presents just because I was thinking
about you. I can tell you a lot about sharks, and a little bit
about cuttlefish. I will cross the street just to pet a cute dog. I
will wake you up in the middle of the night to tell you about my
crazy dream and then not remember a thing about it in the morning.
I think sandwiches taste better when cut in half, diagonally. I
make art. I left non-profit work for regular work and barely made
it five months. I read a lot. I have a fondness for mid-century
modern design. I will still think you are the most amazing and
brilliant person I have ever met, even when I've seen your bad
side.
What I’m doing with my life
I like to make things. I would like to spend more time making
things and less time not making things. I would also like to spend
even more time playing with animals.
In addition, I have the Best Job in the World.
I’m really good at
taking care of animals, but I bring instant death to all plants who
dare come too near.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am generally covered in animal fur.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Wes Anderson, Coen Brothers, the Decemberists, Death Cab, Mark
Robinson, Jonathan Safran Foer, Dave Eggers, the list is too
long... "what is the what" and "extremely loud and incredibly
close" are two of the best books I've ever read. I turn down the
pages of books to mark quotes I want to find again.
The six things I could never do without
my cat
my dog
people who make me laugh
people who make me think
contact lens solution
double-sided tape
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to get on Cash Cab.
On a typical Friday night I am
at the movies, eating delicious foods, contemplating the
possibility of ice cream (hopefully from Maggie Mudd), looking at
art, making art, thinking about making art, or just at home with
tallulah cat and stella dog mindlessly watching the Discovery
Channel.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
When I was 12 I saw Return of the Jedi 17 times.
