My self-summary
Awkwardly silly. Proudly nerdy.

Something of an introvert and a self admitted nerd/dork. I come off as shy and quiet until I get comfortable, after that it's a different story. Any chance for adventure is a must, and if it scares me, I HAVE to try it. Constantly trying to learn new things, enjoy taking classes, and love traveling. I'm a compulsive reader, a gym hater and a martial arts drifter. I love technology, gadgets and anything that makes me think I'm in the future. My sense of humor is admittedly odd, it may not always translate.

I'm looking for someone with their own drive for adventure, who won't mind my nerdy ways and possibly has their own. If you can teach me to dance, bonus points.

Tend to overuse ellipses...

Oh, and if this hits a note with you, we should probably talk:
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a social worker in my current professional life. I'm reading when I have a free moment, dancing (badly) when I'm not paying attention, and writing/sketching for the hell of it. Sporadically doing some form of martial arts, physical activity and compulsively trying to learn new things.
I’m really good at
Making plans.
Baking - Eating what I bake.
Being a compulsive reader
Making a mess in the kitchen.
Trying new things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know, I've never asked. What did you notice?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This list is actually gigantic, don't take this as anywhere near complete. I'm also constantly on the hunt for other good books, whatever the topic. Please don't hesitate to make recommendations.
The Book of the New Sun - Gene Wolfe
Sandman - Neil Gaiman
NightWatch - Terry Pratchett
Kafka on the Shore - Haruki Murakami
Bridge of Birds - Barry Hughart
Anything by Roger Zelazny
The Long Goodbye - Raymond Chandler

Boondock Saints
Donnie Darko
Duel to the Death

Pretty much anything, absolutely love Dim Sum though.

I don't actually watch TV, but netflix has got me watching Doctor Who at the moment. I'm starting to realize that I'm very behind on quite a few shows I should watch...
The six things I could never do without
I'm not so sure there's anything I could actually do without. You'd be surprised what you can manage...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why there is never a good photo of me.

Silly answers to strange questions.
On a typical Friday night I am
I have no idea... any ideas?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't drink beer, or coffee.
You should message me if
you want to. Don't worry, I don't bite!

For those who read this far, an update:

I know how frustrating it can be to work on a decent message and then here nothing back. So that I can do my part, if you message me, I'll send you something back.

If you send hello, hi, etc.. I really don't have anything to say back. Give me something to work with..

If you send me an actual message, you'll probably get an actual conversation, regardless of whether or not I think we'd work. I always appreciate the effort and I'll always try to reciprocate back.

IF I don't get back to you, feel free to poke me. I often check these on my phone, but I don't respond on it. Sometimes though, the fact that I checked it, makes me think I responded.

I promise, I'm not ignoring you.
